The video is wrong. Didn't you see more than one mistake? They called the virus Blacklight, which is wrong too. Carnival 2 and Redlight is what destroyed Hope, Idaho. Blacklight wasn't created till 2009.

You're wrong about that. People associate 'Protagonist' with the hero because most stories revolve around them. Protagonist means the Main Character. Antagonists are those who oppose the main character. So since Prototype 2 revolves around Heller, he's the protagonist. Heller's enemies (Alex, Blackwatch) are the antagonists.

It's not being used as a prefix in this case. It's just the letters that were used to spell out a word. Produce, Product, Program, Probability. Those words all begin with Pro, but that doesn't mean it's talking about something good.

Splitting hairs now, aren't you? All I was saying was that Protagonist doesn't directly refer to the Good Guy of the story. Nor does the 'pro' in it's spelling refer it to being good. It refers to the main character itself. Recently, it's often used to point towards the hero, but it's original definition was "one who plays the first part, chief actor" . So whoever the main person is, they're the protagonist.

Not really. Up until last year (when my friend said that he read a book with no protagonist in it -Since everyone in it was bad-), I thought the whole "Protagonist = Main Character Antagonist = Against the main character" thing was common knowledge.

Umm...No. That's not even close to being the definition... Protagonist=Main Character. Antagonist=Against the Main Character. It doesn't matter who disturbs the balance. It matter who the story focuses upon. There have been plenty of games/movies/books where the protagonist is the one that "disturbs the balance". If they made a comic that revolved around The Joker as he fought Batman, then he'd be the Protagonist while Batman would be the Antagonist.
