The Green Party's economics are economics of scale, which is vastly more efficient than either statism or corporatism. They also look at everything as an asset as opposed to a commodity. It is not practical for the unenlightened, though.

He's Tibetan and probably doesn't spend much time talking in English. They try to keep the Tibetan language alive in India because its not that much use for getting jobs in Tibet. In Lhasa the use of Tibetan is discouraged.

If you've got anything constructive to say against the Dalai Lama you have full right to say what you want but if its mud slinging then you should know that it only ends in getting both parties dirty.

We are not "brainwashed" Chinese red guards from more than 30 years ago. China has opened itself to the rest of the world since 1978, so were not brainwashed (except the commies)

Great to see the Dalia Lama coming out and supporting the Green Movement. Greens everywhere already support Tibet's struggle for freedom from the Chinese thugs and comments like this will only redouble our support for a Free Tibet.

I admit: I need to learn more about the Dalai Lama if what Congo4Life says is true. We can't assume that Tibetans are perfect and that everything each Chinese person does is bad. I don't tolerate this "people vs government" shit. Some people have government and laws on their side. Others are simply not that lucky. ALL laws are created by people. Some of China's laws - 1-child rule - are good. Others - invasion of privacy over movies or porn or drugs consumed - are evil. People CAUSE these laws.

The Green Party's economics are economics of scale, which is vastly more efficient than either statism or corporatism. They also look at everything as an asset as opposed to a commodity. It is not practical for the unenlightened, though.

Paul8kangas: those Chinese who supported the invasion of Tibet are criminals who belong in prison for life. But, you are 100% correct that those Chinese who support free abortions and mandatory birth control deserve praise for fighting global warming, environmental destruction. You truly do not understand the devastation that the one child policy has brought to the chinese people. You applaude FORCED [late-term] abortion and the government corruption involved in charging fees for extra children? You don't need that crap to bring about negative population growth. "Western" countries have very low or negative population growth excluding immigration and more and more people are choosing to not have the responsibility of a child.

China is doing more to fight Global Warming than the US is. In China, a woman is allowed only 1 child every 10 years. The Earth has 4x more people than we can feed. China is a model for what the US should be doing to stop Global Warming by proving free abortions.

The United States BOUGHT Alaska, which is quite different to the INVASION of Tibet and subsequent war crimes committed by the Chinese. Comparing these two situations like you have is not only inaccurate and unintelligent, it is malicious and inhumane.

i am a member of the green party in texas and people need to support it all across the usa. the democraps and the repugnants have sold out our country and are responsible for increasing global warming by doing almost nothing to reign in greenhouse gases. the greens are on the ballot in 20 states and the district of columbia. get involved and support a real alternative.
