Get the DS Lite, because of GBA compatibility and lower price. You can also mod the Lite to play off SDmicro's with a Flashcart, unlike the DSi.You won't notice the screen seize difference between the two either. One more plus is that the Lite battery life is much longer!

I have a black Nintendo DS lite which is from pokemon, it has Dialga and Palkia on drawn on the front, and the DS came with a proper bag to put it in. Also, it came with an english video of pokemon dungeon.

My DS just fell on the ground yesterday... too good nothing happened to it, only the hinge was damaged...

I have a classic but the Lite is much better, it got better screens, Sound and better CPU and It is more resistant to shock. Basicly yeah It's well worth upgrading from A Classic to a DS Lite. Don't bother with the DSI though.

Yea thats true. All the diffrence in DS Lite and DSi has that the DSi has a shitty 0.3 mpx camera and costs 50 euros more.

The most famous is Nintendogs...it has 4 versions you can buy...it uses microphone very often,you can call your dog to you by saying his name into microphone and you can teach him new orders like "sit" or "paw"etc..

when The new DS comes out to see if its upgradable a newly revamped Nintendo DS should be on its way to retailers everywhere. According to them, the new handheld gaming system will be announced at this year's E3 convention, which is scheduled to take place July 13-15th. Bloomberg doesn't give any indication as to a what sort of new feature set we might expect, but we suppose all will be revealed when/if this thing actually gets official

I've had my ds for over 6 months now and I and I never regretted buying one

It has great bright screens, a huge selection of games, adequate graphics and sound

It's a lot of fun, comes in very handy when you're on a train/bus, waiting somewhere etc..

The only thing i do regret is that I didn't buy a protective case as the top of the clam shell is all scratched by carrying it in my pocket all the time which makes it looks really ugly when held under a light

But all in all, it's a great system

Yes, you can, the DS lite is very small and compact, so it doesn't waste as much space as the regular DS.

IMO, there's no question as to whether it's worth the upgrade - the DS Lite IS the DS. If I were Nintendo, I would disown the older model and pretend it never existed. Plus it makes those who chose gameplay over graphics (DS over PSP) feel better that they're handheld looks as sleek and sexy as it does.

I pretty much only keep my DS Lite in my cargo pants. I've also found that the polar white and the pink DS Lites have like a special plastic covering on the outside that the onyx one doesn't have. I can't really explain how it just feels different and doesn't get as many fingerprints.

stating the obvious is what this review is! It's a cosmetic review! A finished review will tell you that compared to the OG DS the DS LITE speakers are midi in comparison. The DS lite's brightness is too bright, there's no real need to go past a the second notch of 4 ,you just waste more battery juice. speaking of which, the longevity of the battery life is extended with the DS LITE. There's more but I think I've made it awkward enough.
