I stopped watchin' this for the rest of my life - even before "Water For Elephants" came out - 'cause I just can't stand that kinda cruelty towards elephants...ever. People, agree with me, please.

This is a travesty. This ineptly colored version is vastly inferior to the original Fleischer film (in black & white) . The worst part is that the incredible Fleischer 3D background shots are completely lost . To quote Orson Welles shortly before he died: "Keep Ted Turner and his damn crayons away from my movies" (Citizen Kane, etc.) Search on YouTube for "Popeye The Sailor 039 - Popeye the Sailor with Little Swee'Pea" to see the original version of this film in all it's glory.

@Rathamanzar no...the Koreans colorized the old Black and White Popeye cartoons in 1986-1987.
