@Lugialover009 It's good to feed your snake away from its normal living space as they become accustomed to being feed by humans mostly due to your safety. Snakes don't know the difference between your hand trying to get him out and its dinner, so handling becomes difficult if you feed it in its normal everyday living space. I fed mine in many different spots around the house and outside so it didn't get used to a single location. I got my info from a friend who is a herpetologist years ago.
@snakeworship I highly highly doubt that she keeps it in a box all the time. Most people put them in a different container, or tank when they feed them. I'm sure this snakes owner has a proper place for him/her.

@lucaman1221 if both snakes are healthy (free of disease) they're not going to spread any disease to each other. i'm not going to guarantee anything, but i've had 2 of my kingsnakes out with my ball python, blood python, AND boa constrictor all at the same time with no problems. they're more concerned with, "where the hell am i? and why am i not in my comfy hide?"

@Lugialover009 It's good to feed your snake away from its normal living space as they become accustomed to being feed by humans mostly due to your safety. Snakes don't know the difference between your hand trying to get him out and its dinner, so handling becomes difficult if you feed it in its normal everyday living space. I fed mine in many different spots around the house and outside so it didn't get used to a single location. I got my info from a friend who is a herpetologist years ago.

Yes, technically they are wild as they cannot be domesticated. For a pet reptile, insect, amphibian, fish, this means nothing bad. And yes, your goldfish are wild animals. Scared?
Pet cats and dogs are also carnivorous. For most people, this isn't a prob.
And you've most likely never handled a ball python before. Ball pythons are easier to handle than just about any cat, dog, etc.

@xps2020 I wouldn't trust them with kids... under 12. Kids can handle them fine with instruction.
Poisonous pet snakes should never be an issue. If you have a poisonous snake, you should be a licensed snake handler.
Corn snakes and ball pythons can be bought for under $100, generally ~30-50. Not expensive.
Dogs and cats escape all the time. Cats are great at it if they want to.
No ball python can skill a person. Period. I cannot say the same for dogs. Cats have given me more injuries.

Dogs and cats will escape all the time as they are inquisitive naturally, also they prefer to roam around more, they cover a larger area then snakes, fact. Dogs can kill peopl, but these breeds are banned in UK. Cats are temperamental and may just dislike ur person. period.

And actually there is many cases where animals such as lions, have been as dangerous towards there carers as the common dog would be. Childrens pythons are placid snakes, not once have one ever bitten me, I can't say the same about cats and dogs.
