He's a great rythmguitarplayer and he uses the musicinstrument to write some great tunes...

Besides, he's got an absolute good ear, just because he knows how to make and write damn good harmonies in very good musically catchy melodielines.

You're so right, Tonyr. It's about writing a good song, not about how many notes you can play per minute, or being the best/fastest drummer. Two of the most famous drummers in the world have been Ringo Starr and Peter Criss. Both of them were FAR from being the "best" drummers, but they're famous for the songs the bands they were in played. Look at Greenday: The songs are very easy to play, but they're such catchy tunes. It's not about being the best musicians, but playing a good song.

You don't have to play 1 billion notes in a minute to be a great musician.

Paul is a great songwriter, a good rythm guitarplayer and a great singer. He can play bassguitar and can make the most beautifull arangements if it comes to songwriting.

Not to mention, one of the best rock frontmen out there....

That makes somebody a great musician.
