I really hope they throw the Xeno in towards the end. I'm glad they're not basing the entire movie around it, but it wouldn't make sense to just make a film about the Space Jocke without a single mention of the Xenomorph. The eggs had to come from somewhere. Hell, even a post-credits scene involving it would be nice.

I'm a huge fan of Alien. Can't wait for this! As soon as I heard Mr. Scott was doing this movie I was thrilled. Forget about AVP, folks, that was a sad chapter in movie making and will soon be forgotten.

Scott gave us the original vision of that universe, so I trust that whatever guise of Alien this is (prequel or not), it will be excellent.

Ive been saying it for ages now that Prometheus Movie is going to b special. Trust me go watch this film at Cinemas, it doesnt even hav2 b in 3D, but go watch it on the big screen, there r things Ridley and movie producers hav put in this movie thats not only going to scare you, its gonna make you think. There r themes in this movie about Man's evolution and wots really out there thats gonna blow you away, people say its only a movie and yes it is, but this ones different trust.

This should redeem the Alien franchise. Those greedy corporate bastards at Fox really fucked things up by having those those awful scripts/screenplay of AvP greenlit. Even James Cameron was going to try and fix up the mess after Resurrection and was trying to make Alien 5, but Fox fucked him over and insisted on making AvP into a movie all in terms of trying making quick profits by suckering fanboys.

For me all the aliens were good ,starting from Alien 1 as the best,then it goes everytime downwards.The mysterie from the first one is totally lost in the last ones. it will of course. i know the space craft that they found on LV416 was heading to earth to unleash the aliens upon us. they got angry with the crew of the prometheus according to the first draft which wasl eaked but never denied. this is suppose to be the first of 2 or 3 films. i always wondered why the crew from the first Alien were sent to Lv416 by Wayland in the first place

@Glaswegianmark Re-watch the behind the scenes and some of the story from Alien. The crashed ship on LV-426 was broadcasting a signal. Which later turned out to be a warning to stay away. The Space Jockey was trying to dispose of the Alien eggs not destroy earth. They were trying to save themselves from a dangerous "weapon" the Aliens. Wayland Yutani somehow knew to be looking for the Space Jockey artifacts and ships.

It should definitely answer the question of "why the heck is there a crashed ship of alien eggs in a cargo hold on LV-426 and why was the corporation looking for signs of alien life?"

and why was the Nostromo sent there in the first place. remember how in Alien Ash revealed he was sent on the Nostromo on company orders to collect the Alien? i think that ship carrying the aliens (obviously bio-logical weapons) was heading for Earth to destroy it (they created us) mabye because they got angry at something the Prometheus crew did

I think there is alien eggs in the film but I have no idea of an actual alien/alien is in the film??
