Kayle have a good damage, and she can play like a good support, but she is too squishy, and her ult is too short, tryndamere ult is the same but with 4 more seconds :/
i love this champion, but seriously they nerfed too fucking much. her heal is the worst heal in the game, and her slow is the only ability that scales at all. the speed buff is a tad bit too short. she's almost useless early game, and if you don't get a ridiculous amount of farm, she's useless at late game too. seriously guys, what were you thinking?
@krist981 Ok as opposed to insulting you like that other guy I'm going to break down your points and address each one. Firstly, her heal also comes with a speed buff so it can be used for quick escapes or assisting your teammates with chases so they can either stun them and once they do you can hit the enemy with your Q. Farming is ridiculously easy for me by the time i'm level 7 since I max E first, so I'd suggest you change your build.
@krist981 Kayle is not a complete support/tank as she does have a hard time actually 1v1ing some champions without her ult. She can; however, get the teammate into the battle and lay heavy fire as support.
And again I have no idea what you're talking about kayle's ability to farm. Yes she needs to farm (every fucking champion in the game needs gold), but he E with its AoE damage does a tremendous job at eliminating minion waves even during the early game.
@krist981 Max her E go for a quick Guinsoo then get gunblade then build tanky. much better than freaks build and even better damage output. gives you sustain without the heal and another slow on cast ability. can get mallet or rylai's with atmas and wits end or banshe veil. build works great makes you durable, threatening, gives you plenty of ap for your heal and E and Q. no need of void staff since with masteries you should have 25% armor/magic pen meaning the void staff is only giving 21%
Her damage output is mostly due to her speed, not her actual AP stats. Her CDR contributes to how long you can have Reckoning up (which is at or close to 100% of the time with how much CDR you stack). Coupled with her attack speed, Kayle is a fiery beast. "Hell hath no fury like a woman-angel scorned." :D This video focuses more on her DPS role than her Support/Tank role that she can also fulfill.
What I'd like to see is an updated video or information regarding the new Mastery Trees and such

@RJSnyper I can understand that. Ghost or Flash are good, but if you think about it, if you have a good support with you, or just another ally that can speed you or multiple allies up, using her Ult in conjunction with another allies' ability can be useful. As I think about it now, Kayle isn't good soloing, but with good enough support or just some other good allies fighting alongside her, she can be pretty powerful. Regardless, I hope they fix her drawbacks. She's an interesting character.

They nerfed everything on kayle. I mean a 2.5 second haste? wtf is that? Ghost lasts 12 seconds. Her E has virtually no ap ratio. Her Q barely reaches half of poppy's ult at it's first level in terms of damage amplification. I can see why no one plays her any more. Even if she is balanced now, Riot just took a champion and cut its power in half.
@obesechicken13 u complain a lot shes still really strong i mean 40% of her damage is splash late game kayle with 400+ ad and 2.5 attack speed can destroy a team easy not to mention her q makes them take 10% more damage for 4 seconds she is probably one of the best carrys atm and shes the only carry who can support her team with healz or make them immune to damage
Why would he get max Reckoning for damage? It's slow doesn't get any better and if he's going to stack attack speed he might as well level up Righteous Fury to proc the magic damage (from 20 to 60 if maxed out). He doesn't really get any damage from Malady (the 20 passive isn't that impressive alone) or Nashor's Tooth so what's the point of getting Attack Speed so much, so early? Surely not just for the Kayle's Passive?
If you didn't realize Kayle was OP you played her once and got your ass kicked. She is secretly overpowered as shit, and if you didn't know this, you are bad at this game.
I'm seriously new to LoL, but I have played a few times with Kayle, and I can say that I won't be leaving her anytime soon. I honestly love the fact that with a few item changes, she can be a full support or can be a solo killer. If I cover one lane by myself, I usually get the Sunfire Cape and Atma's Impaler giving me extra damage and good resistance and armor. If I go Full support, I usually skip out on the impaler, and get Aegis of Legion.
@K33pItGHOST Kayle isn't that good of a support. Her W healing is really poor. I think she's best played as a hybrid support rather than a full support.
@ColossalCrackling The thing is, if you have good cooldown reduction, her heals get pumped out faster. Her invuln is amazing as well when dealing with multiple enemies in their base. She CAN be played as a full support, it just takes some practice. Just to clarify though, I know they're better supports. My team is getting me to get Sona :)
@K33pItGHOST If you play Kayle as a full support, you don't maximize her potential. She does a lot of damage (probably the most damage for a support). That is why I said "hybrid support" in my original post; you get support items as well as damage items. If you do something like that, then in solo queue people won't rage at you for not picking support, and you can still carry if someone's feeding on your team.
@ColossalCrackling You're right, I guess I didn't use "full support" right. I mean that I only ever attack someone with Q to slow them down and let my partner get away, or ever only use E when I have to take out some minions or help with a turret. You're right, but I think she can be played very efficiently as a support.
The fun thing is: Kayle did not need a remake, i never heard a complaint about her being OP, she was FUN, not many people played her, still not many people play her.
I had nothing against the change in graphics but it was the passive that set me up. I love passives which converts one stat into another and vice versa (for example Vladimir and Galio's).
Dont get me wrong the new passive is good but it isnt fun. It used to be fun now it is just a forgettable passive.

@RuckaInc i actually played with her in 1 match 4 ppl left cause they was playing in a cafe so i hold the enemy very good i killed like 20 something them rofl till my team got reconnect after few mins i started to go easy and we lost its true

I think that in last year I've seen 1-2 people playing good her besides me ( ofcourse it depends what do U play her- support, ad carry or ap carry).

I think kayle is pretty easy just if you know how to play i often go solo top lane with her and i always own both of them cuz of my range and splash and heal just stealing emeny blue buff later game and i can spam my heal without getting afraid to get out of my mana

They nerfed everything on kayle. I mean a 2.5 second haste? wtf is that? Ghost lasts 12 seconds. Her E has virtually no ap ratio. Her Q barely reaches half of poppy's ult at it's first level in terms of damage amplification. I can see why no one plays her any more. Even if she is balanced now, Riot just took a champion and cut its power in half.

@obesechicken13 u complain a lot shes still really strong i mean 40% of her damage is splash late game kayle with 400+ ad and 2.5 attack speed can destroy a team easy not to mention her q makes them take 10% more damage for 4 seconds she is probably one of the best carrys atm and shes the only carry who can support her team with healz or make them immune to damage

Why would he get max Reckoning for damage? It's slow doesn't get any better and if he's going to stack attack speed he might as well level up Righteous Fury to proc the magic damage (from 20 to 60 if maxed out). He doesn't really get any damage from Malady (the 20 passive isn't that impressive alone) or Nashor's Tooth so what's the point of getting Attack Speed so much, so early? Surely not just for the Kayle's Passive?

I'm seriously new to LoL, but I have played a few times with Kayle, and I can say that I won't be leaving her anytime soon. I honestly love the fact that with a few item changes, she can be a full support or can be a solo killer. If I cover one lane by myself, I usually get the Sunfire Cape and Atma's Impaler giving me extra damage and good resistance and armor. If I go Full support, I usually skip out on the impaler, and get Aegis of Legion.

@K33pItGHOST Kayle isn't that good of a support. Her W healing is really poor. I think she's best played as a hybrid support rather than a full support.

@ColossalCrackling The thing is, if you have good cooldown reduction, her heals get pumped out faster. Her invuln is amazing as well when dealing with multiple enemies in their base. She CAN be played as a full support, it just takes some practice. Just to clarify though, I know they're better supports. My team is getting me to get Sona :)

@K33pItGHOST If you play Kayle as a full support, you don't maximize her potential. She does a lot of damage (probably the most damage for a support). That is why I said "hybrid support" in my original post; you get support items as well as damage items. If you do something like that, then in solo queue people won't rage at you for not picking support, and you can still carry if someone's feeding on your team.

@ColossalCrackling You're right, I guess I didn't use "full support" right. I mean that I only ever attack someone with Q to slow them down and let my partner get away, or ever only use E when I have to take out some minions or help with a turret. You're right, but I think she can be played very efficiently as a support.

The fun thing is: Kayle did not need a remake, i never heard a complaint about her being OP, she was FUN, not many people played her, still not many people play her.
I had nothing against the change in graphics but it was the passive that set me up. I love passives which converts one stat into another and vice versa (for example Vladimir and Galio's).
Dont get me wrong the new passive is good but it isnt fun. It used to be fun now it is just a forgettable passive.

@HarryBoI7777 Correct me now if i am wrong but i think it was 30% of her Attack damage became ability power and 15% of her Ability power became attack damage (not stacking infinitely). It might have been the other way around.

@RuckaInc i actually played with her in 1 match 4 ppl left cause they was playing in a cafe so i hold the enemy very good i killed like 20 something them rofl till my team got reconnect after few mins i started to go easy and we lost its true

@RuckaInc you didnt get what i said do you, few secs after we started their was 4 ppl that played in same place a cafe and they got DC all so i left alone i started to protect the towers and ownd the other team they berly got 1 turrent and i was alone and got like 15 kills and more later when they got back

@RuckaInc well its hard to play her nice, she is my favorite champ and I play her quite good, if U are on west serv check my last games with her (login: My Matte). I think that in last year I've seen 1-2 people playing good her besides me ( ofcourse it depends what do U play her- support, ad carry or ap carry).
