CNC Stepper Motor Setup 4 Axis TB6560 With Nema 23s

Hi there, I'm a CNC apprentice machinist and have ordered the same setup as yours to convert my sherline mill to cnc. I've heard nothing but negative feedback regarding the TB6560 so yours is one of the very few that seems to work.... I am not very electronics savvy and I hope my install goes well. Have you had any issues or any comments that might help when it arrives?

If you hadn't bought this board, I would have suggesting looking for a better alternative. It's always nice to think there is always a nice, cheap alternative to everything out there, and although this board does work to some degree it isn't good.

Since posting this video I removed the optical isolators and routed their input directly to the TB6560 device.

@daddyddesign The reason I did this was because the optical isolators were relatively speaking "Slow", and therefore screw up the input signal from the your PC.

This is where I got all my methods from. If you are not very electronics Savvy, you may wish to speak to someone who is. Or write off the cost of the board and buy a decent one. People mention a Gecko driver, which I am looking into now as a replacement.

You should have a lot of reading material in that thread,

But in summary, you get what you pay for. I've had endless trouble with it, I've had to replace two devices now. And with the fixes done it's still not very good.

Save a bit of money and buy some decent kit is my advice. But good luck if you look to repair it.
