  • i was wondering, is there a way to manual focus WHILE in video mode? thanks!

  • @soaringtheclouds Yup. Same method with which buttons to press, you just do it in video mode :)

  • @FatDragon100 so do you have to focus before shooting the video or you can do it while the video is being shot?

  • @humxa24 Same thing I was wondering. I would like to manually focus while shooting a video in 1080p/24fps.

  • @humxa24 Sorry, I thought I had replied to this. You can do it before or during, whichever method you want to do :)

  • @soaringtheclouds For Manual focus? You can do either before or during, it's up to you :)

  • Hi there !

    Thanks for the review.

Now i was wondering, does this camera offer a good 'bokeh' effect ?

I was looking for a dslr, but as i can't really afford one right now, do you think this would be a good option ?

I'm concerned about the 'bokeh' effect in general.

    Please do respond !

Thank You once again ! :)

  • @frolickteen Hello! I have been asked by a couple of people about Bokeh and I haven't actually done it on an SLR before. However...I spent an hour or so tonight working on it and it seems to do the job. I am just going to locate my fairy lights to test it as I don't really have any appropriate lighting to test it with properly and hopefully I can confirm that Bokeh is doable.

If you're not already, come along to my page if you have Facebook as I will most likely post the results there :)

  • thanks for the tutorial!! but when i go to use manual focus it doesnt have 'ft' it has something like cm and inches

  • @boltandbella It will change depending on how close/far away you are focusing. Mine goes down to inches from feet after I have turned the wheel a few times and start to focus closer to the camera :)

  • @boltandbella I just saw a setting on my camera relating to this. When you go into your menu, on the second tab with the picture of the spanner and hammer, you can choose whether your camera shows in m/cm or ft/inch :)

  • @FatDragon100 hmm the what?

  • @boltandbella In the second option in the menu :D

  • thank you for tutorials very much! ;)

  • @franjo555 You're very welcome, hope they come in handy ^^
