  • There's a better version too, the tricep push downs, its different but builds muscle better

  • I didn't know there was a type of push up for the triceps. I've watched a couple of your video's and will probably watch many more as I get the hang of the couple of moves I picked to start my body weight work outs.

  • @furyjubilie Another great bodyweight triceps exercise is called sphinx pushups. I recently posted a how-to video for sphinx pushups.

  • @TheBlunt011 Yes, diamond pushups are better than close-grip pushups if your criteria is simply which exercise is harder and challenges the triceps more. But I think when I filmed this video I figured close-grip pushups was a better choice because most people will struggle like crazy to perform diamond pushups (even from their knees). So I think close-grip pushups are the best triceps-focussed exercise for the general population.

  • These are really good but personally if you have two identical chairs. You can put the backs of the chairs opposite each other and do tricep dips with them. Thats a more pesonal preference, and its also body weight.

  • i am 12 years old and have trained with dumbells but have realiced that i wont start training with wieght untill i have stop growing. can i du push ups and other triceps exercices? thanks

  • at your age you only really want to be doing body weight exercises e.g. press ups and sit ups that kind of thing leave weights til your at least 15 or 16

  • First of all, there is nothing different from using your body weight only than using external weight (kettlebells, hand weights, etc). Also, it´s a myth that lifting weights is going to stop you from growing. Write scooby in the search box, the first result should be a muscular guy with a hat, watch his channel, check out his workouts and his web page, full of info and it´s all free.
