Kaddafi didn't kill as many of his citizens as the US/NATO did, but i agree with you about Mubarak, i really respect him for that.
I my self just like millions of people out there don't support & never liked the US/NATO violent foreign policy, none the less i dislike all kind of violence and murder of any kind by anyone even more, so i really think that Assad needs to be prosecuted. But not before the US/NATO agents fuck off!

@PeiLaLa i also disagree with US foreign policy but i understand it. You see; before WW2 USA didnt mingle with much foreign affairs. During WW1 German empire was expanding & very agressive, we ignored it, they sunk Lusitania boat, killed many Americans but we ignored until zimmerman note thus we acted.
During WW2, we ignored German/Japanese expantion & murder of millions of civilians, mostly European minotiries, slavics & Chinese civilians, until they attacked us & then we tried to police earth.

@PeiLaLa Currencies will always have inflation if thats what you dislike, even gold standard has very large inflation-deflation periods which caused the unstable economies of the early 20th C. Inflation now is very stable & low at around 3%, it rewards investors, not savers, which is good for growth.
People 2day live longer then 40 years ago so they increased our work years but it is sad they couldnt keep their promise on THAT yet spend $700 Billion on military.

@JL0183 yes, gold standard has inflation, look up US monetary history in Trading Economist, when USA has the gold standard we haad years where inflation hit as high as 10% in 1 year. Other years is dropped 10%, it was an unstable mess.

@prjerry7 high inflation with the gold standard is extremely rare and hyperinflation is nearly impossible gold is the most consistant form of currency with fixed international rates and wealth distributed based on supply so maybe there is partial inflation but its more stable than the dollar which in case is devalued can be used to wipe our asses so the gold standard is the best currency system i can think up what do you purpose

USD was VERY unstable under the gold standard, there were years where deflation hit over 10% [so your money value booms but this is bad for growth], there were also years where inflation hit over 10%.
No worth mentioning economy today uses gold standard because it doesnt work & is prone.

@JL0183 funny how your an American like me but know so little about economy & would like a gold standard even though we have a multibillion dollar trade deficit [all of our gold would be exported in less then a year].. Heres a lesson;
a. GS isnt stable.
b. GS would cause some deflation which is terrible for an economy, just look at Japans gdp the last 20 years [due to deflation].
c. GS rewards savers which kills circulation & thus growth, it also kills incentives for investments.
