Do you find that the piece becomes off-center with only one slice in the collet? I tried making a similar collet a while back, but I cut a slot across the end grain about 3/4 of the way through so it would pinch evenly. It didn't work so well. I'll try this next time.

@JimHaslett Glad you like it! They'll probably become a standard in later videos since I generally have so many :)
I do find it goes a bit off center, but not enough to bother me. A little sanding blends it in just fine.
