@flintsix If you plan on playing multiple flight sims, I suggest an X52. Inexpensive, lots of buttons, rotaries, etc. It's what I use. There isn't a commercial setup specifically for the Ka-50. I remember reading an interview with Matt Wagner (producer), and he specified what he used, but I cannot find it again for the life of me.

Not long from now DCS: A-10C will come out, and Thrustmaster has a replica HOTAS line coming out at about the same time. But it costs like a bajillion dollars.

This video would have been a bit more helpful IF A) the speaker's volume was higher than the engine/cockpit volume and,

B) if his head/mouse movement was dramatically reduced in the beginning while trying to show different buttons/ABRISS etc.

As is, it is still a reasonably helpful tutorial. I hope the author considers creating more with the above mentioned points considered.

I wish I could help you better, but there is only so much I can do from here. Usually when I encounter a situation where something should be working but isn't, it is usually traced back to errors in my start-up procedure, such as forgetting to turn on the INU or the SAI or whatever. Go through the start-up tutorial once more, that is what I do.

In the "valley of death" mission i start the helicopter but in-route switch does not engage. I wonder if i am missing to turn something on ... i have the navigation panel operational, waypoint 1 selected (have tried others too), head to waypoint switch but the heli does not take the waypoints, in other missions with the heli and systems already started works fine, what could be happening?
