I work for Mazda and this is not the RX-9. This is a concept of how the 2013 Mazda 6 will look like thats why it looks big. And yes the RX-9 will be a twin turbo rotary engine.

Actually the rx9 is being designed as we speak,its gonna be a two door hatch,around about the same size as the mx5.

The engine will be a hybride bio engine.

thats not an rx-9, this thing deosnt even have a rotary engine, you see the rpm gauge at 2:24, it redlines at 7000 rpm. think about it, a engine has a much higher rpm than that.and its nothing like an rx, rx's are light, small, and always have a rotary engine. and besides.. its called the Shinari...

I saw pics of the first real! model of the rx-9 to come out, not in production form yet

It's on line and looks a lot like the latest version of the twin turbo rx-7, a little like chevie corvette, and alittle like the rx-8, with the front resembling mazda furi and almost the same rear wind shield as the rx-8. It looks awsome! A mazda speed version from factory will come out as a later model with 350 Bhp naturally aspirated. Cool!

This can not be the new Rx9... The Rx9 needs to be a 2 door sports coupe that will kill all. Now if the make this and put a tri-rotor version of the 16x a 24x make it twin turbo and give it north of 550hp then I would be happy. This thing just look heavy, well over the Rx8s weight.
