@MateoIsAGull none of the main games are connected, only the spinoffs are. So with the systems and pc you have, you cane definately play 6-10 on your ps2. They are all pretty easy to find if you look around, and they remade final fantasy 3 and 4 for the DS, which are pretty good. Basically, just pick a game and jump in, it's worht it!

So much politics and religion was in many of the FF games, it was what made the various "worlds" so realistic.

To be fair, though, I have to be fair in the fact that many of the characters are...a bit cliche. There's always one main character who's depressed over something or another, for example.

Nevertheless, great theme, great game, great gaming series.
