Wow. I listen to Mike nearly every day but I missed this. But I have to agree with him. Mike may be many things - pompous, arrogant, etc. - but he knows a great deal about sports (particularly football, baseball, and horse racing) and no one is going to supplant him in NY. No matter how much people complain, they tune in. It is what it is.

Fan is the number 1 network in the area but I have to show love to ESPN. I actually enjoy both stations for me its not about choosing. FAN's advantage is the fact that its a homegrown network and has been well established in the market. Its hard to knock off something thats incredibly established with a dedicated fanbase.
