The whole Nazi plan ,was for world dominance, and that was the cause that ALL german soldiers were expected to fight for...includng the waffen ss, wermarcht,etc.etc, make it sound like it was a noble cause, cost the world 50 million people,most of which were innocent civilians, never mined the 6 million killed in the camps, nothing to be proud of there.

I'ts good to see that there are people who understand that the Wermacht were brave and honorable just like the allied or russian troops. Sadly, most people think that they were evil animals bent on world domination.

I agree, there were lots of heros in all armies. But there was an immense difference as to discipline, militarian education and tactics, as well as to weaponary and gear, resources, leadership and overall strategy.

The hero factor on the battleground wasn't the decisive factor as to the outcome of the war.

Well they were normal people fighting for a not so good cause! Now dont get me wrong im not trying to say bad things about the german army but those SS soldiers are the ones that I dislike>

I respect your point of view. But the Waffen-SS - especially the foreign volunteers - fought for a cause they believed in with all their heart and bravery. They gave their youth, their health or their lives to fight for their belief. And that is why they deserve our respect. Nowadays I am sure not many young American or European people would want to fight voluntarily for any cause.
