  • pentastar Vshit!

  • @MrImacarfan its not a pentastar it is the old 3.5 liter V6

  • @123456789027012 i know it was a joke lol

  • is the journey gas, flex, or diesel?

  • @peperboy1000 Gas. And by the way no diesel engine can rev to 6400 grand.

  • hey xoquixxoqafxo, this asshole stole your video. what a dick, LOL! /watch?v=VX1zuw_cmKs&feature=related

  • @awada85 i just watched that i never knew you were aloud to do that

  • to bad it only shifted twice before 60

  • cause it has a 6 speed?? im pretty sure

  • I kinda like that instrument cluster honestly.

  • @dmontego522 me too. i like how dodge is trying to keep them somewhat classic.

  • @YouAreConstipated

Meanwhile dodge has released the new Durango, which looks much much better than the old one. Here's to hoping the quality is good! lol

  • @dmontego522 Keep hoping, Its a tweaked Mercedes ML platform underneath like the "new" Grand Cherokee. So you get the german over-engineering produced on a Chrysler budget.

  • Those gauges look 20 years outdated! Decently quick, but you know after a few years that thing will need a new transmission. Right after the warranty runs out lol I will stick with good ol reliable Japanese cars. My 350z has over 180k on it and still does 0-60 in 5 seconds.

  • @VulgarBoyzz No they don't, they look good in my opinion. My 02 dodge neon has 156000 miles on it, and it is still running perfectly on the original engine and trans, and i'm not easy on it. So much for japanese cars being better.

  • Pretty much all of chryslers V6's made since like 2005 are crap. The 2.7, the 3.5 and 3.7. Luckily they now offer the new pentastar

  • @chorstma44 Those 3 engines were available since the late 90s

  • @The0861marine I am referring to the most recent models. Just because its the same size as the old one, doesnt quite mean its the same. The older ones were actually built better. The newer ones hae little more power, but they are cheaply made and not very reliable

  • Has anyone driven a 4-cyl Journey?? I can just imagine how slow that Is......

  • @bamac2008

Well I have driven the Avenger and Sebring with that powertrain and those use 4 spd autos. Both are slow as hell already so yeah the Journey will probably be as slow as Aveo

  • @xoquixxoqafxo HAHAHAHA! Ive had a bad experince with a 4-cyl Avenger rental a few years back. Smoke started to come from under its hood only after 2 hours of driving, then we ended up having to come home in a PT cruiser >D

  • @xoquixxoqafxo I have driven the 4 cylinder journey. DONT GET ONE!!!!

  • @xoquixxoqafxo If you want more gears on the 3.5 charger youwill have to option for the awd model. It's quicker than the 4sp auto version and maybe a little quicker than the journey.

  • @bamac2008 why do you want so much speed when you cant use it all? its acceleration is good on 2.4 engine, and it does not use much fuel so.... i find it pretty good

  • @aballaynicolas It just seems so out of place in that size of suv..

  • @aballaynicolas

Sorry, but the 2.4L engine is WAY underpowered for this heavy SUV, not even adequate acceleration. You must be used to driving slow cars bc nearly everyone that rents any chrysler product with the 2.4 complains it has no power.

  • @xoquixxoqafxo I agree. My brother in law bought a brand new one thinking it was going to be good on gas too. Haha!

  • OMG the shifts sound like they try to mimic a manual transmission. the gauges are colored like some digital mess from the 80s.

  • @gusherb94

The shifts remind me of how the T&C and Caravan sound when they shift, they must use the same 6 spd auto. It shifts weird but its a huge improvement over their 4 spd auto lol

  • @xoquixxoqafxo Mercedes shifts that way too.

  • Interiors a mess, try adjusting the vents for the A/C, plastic thats so cheap & flexible u think it will break. The newer 1's with the Pentastar V6 Spd, & new interior looks promising tho.

  • @Intechdude300

Surprising, the dash had soft touch materials, but yeah everything else was cheap as hell. I saw the 2011 Interior, huge improvement but the exterior styling looks bland and dated already.
