now i may b wrong but it looks like they are playing either la selects or chc...if it is indeed chc,then this is just terrible because the t-birds are a AAA team while chc are C B A and AA teams. hits like that do not need to be thrown in a exhibition match up no matter how clean they are. if that hit had a microscopic difference, then "reciever" could of broken his neck

This is why I think coaches need to teach kids how to hit properly at a younger age. This hit was great.

It was safe, maybe a little bone jarring, but most importantly, it was EFFECTIVE at the same time. Too many kids and up and coming players getting hurt by hitter's egos and no common sense. It is win win.

Hitter's win: Delivering a proper, effective hit with no penalty, doesn't put your team down.

Receiver's win: You get to skate away, if a little shaken up, but no injury.
