  • @fractalgod I do have a musicl Background if that helps?

  • @seekhtruth Thanks. But I really prefer working with my own music. The most recent vid I made (to Masterpiece Theatre by Marianas Trench) is the only one I did to someone else's music - as I was just *so* impressed with it. But truth be told, I have used everything I have written/made so far - so I would be willing to listen to something of yours - but if I don't want to use it - please don't take offense. it would not be personal.

  • @seekhtruth Hey - I misread that. I read it as having 'musical backgrounds' - so ignore the comment. But you really should check out my friend Lori Gardi's work. She turned me onto fractals over 15 years ago - without her there would be no FractalGod.

  • She has written an amazing explanations of Fractals and Chaos Theory - easy to read considering the depth of it. Check this out: (w w w butterfly effect dot c a ) I've been having trouble posting the link - but you should be able to make sense out of it.

  • @fractalgod Stunning, How Long would it take for one to learn the basics of developing something like this?

  • @seekhtruth Well - this is a composite artform. There are several stagesinvolved1)making the raw short fractalsequences 2)Creating/recording the music 3) Create finalproducion in Adobe Premiere - this is the Huge part. and is where the artistry lies. For you to start making the raw fractal sequences, get a free program called ChaosPro. When I begna there was nothing like this - fractal amimation. But there is a whole world to the mathematics-and understanding the basic math is important. -fg

  • @fractalgod Thanks for the reply...Would one need a mathematic background to do this or are there algorithms and/or genorators that can help me out for the beginning to understand patern sequencing?

  • @seekhtruth Hi - I'm kind of responding to these out of sequence. But no - you don;t *really* need a mathematical background to use it - although you need the basics - and a logical mind.

  • Its good to be in the energy stream

Thanx for all ur hard work - keep on truckin

  • @vincegill2

Thanks :-)) It's a good time to exist in it right now. Consciousness seems to be the true incarnation of the universal 'Global Village' - and with the internet serving as a mirror and conduit, I feel in direct contact with more souls than I ever have before.

  • nice bro! you were right, way more laid back thank you!

  • Thanks for the reply. I enjoy the music very much. Quite a lot of talent there. It does remind me of Steve Roach's work "Trance Spirits" with vocals.

Is the fractal creation in par with the G-Force visual effects from Andy O'Meara? I've never had much chance to get started developing fractals, just enjoy watching them. Thanks again, and look forward to more of your work.

PS. If you have more music to post, I'd like to hear it.

  • @GrandWazoo68

No - it's a different concept. G-Force - like other 'visualization' programs takes the sound signal and uses it to trigger and control vector graphic visuals. My work is all created from Fractals - which have to be pre-rendered and edited to the music. That;s the difference - G-force creates visuals from music, but my fractal vids are more like paintings. You can't create fractals like mine in real time (give it another 10 years or so - computers need to be alot faster)

  • @GrandWazoo68

Thanks. I've tried to cover a wide range - there's one opether worth checking out specifically. It's the *only* one that I didn't use my own music for as I just love this song. It's boh energetic *and* laid back. it's the featured video (Part 3 by Marianas Trench). I put a *lot* of energy into the audio/visual synchronization.

    Cheers,

  • Who is the Artist and song title?

  • The Artist is me (Adrian Nicholas) and the song is - well it's actually a combination of two. I wrote "Energy Stream" as largely an instrumental - but with all the wailing vocals and the words "Energy Stream". But then I decided to write a song to go with it as I found the concept of the Energy Stream, a flowing river of consciousness of which we are all a part, the bring a lot of imagery to mind. So I wrote what I called "Energy Song" at the time, as a standalone song (more...)

    fg

  • Then - thanks to the wonders of modern technology, I was able to cut and paste the song into the original instrumental, turning it into a single work. I should probably come up with a better name for it - just Energy Stream would be it - but I already had my original Energy Stream video up, so I didn;t want to confuse it. So I gues from now on it is really called "Energy Stream" as a whole.

Thanks for asking. I have written and recorded many more songs. I should put them up.

  • Excellent!

  • Awesomeness +5 stars to you!

BTW: I love the background music!

  • Thank you - it's nice to share this stuff with those who enjoy it.

    fg

  • hell yeah, this one is WAY better than the first one I've been watching. Congratssssss

  • very good!

  • Absolutely beautiful...thank you for this.

  • Hi,

Well technically they don't actually move - the animation is adding time to the set. But the unpredicatbility of the tiny numbers are what make the set completely infinite - yet absolutely coherent.

    fg

  • change over time = movement

  • Anyway, this is really (!) great music.

  • LOL - yeah - I think that's in the realm of already established physics - but the nice part is that it's true for The Set as well, What would the reality based version be... ummm... oh yeah... Velocity=Distance/Time.. Something like that. It's the absolute physics of The Set that make it so utterly remarkable. Fractal Space is manifest according to the same rules as physical space. Gotta love science..

    :-))

    fg

  • Better still, you should come to one of the live shows in a movie theatre - it's worth getting high for... :-))

  • so it is you singing? good voice man

  • Hi - yeah, it's me - thanks a lot. I have more songs on Myspace - user: 'adwinsave'

    fg

  • dude how do you do that?

  • LOL - many, many obsessive hours. I use a program to generate short fractal sequences, and put it all together in Adobe Premiere. That one took me a couple of months to put together (excluding the music, which I wrote separately). Thanks for the kudos.

    fg

  • Thanx for god and for you (everything is Same(fractals)isn,t?It was lovely.

  • Thanks a lot. Hopefully there will be a lot more coming this year

  • woah

  • Ah yes, the power of hallucinations... the mind's overdrive on mathematics. DMT is a good way to experience and "understand" fractals... the point being that your mind is a variable "pit" of fractal mathematics, and hallucinations are a visual representation of your mind's form and function.

That's probably the best way I can explain it :P

  • Awesome voice!

  • Thanks - you can listen to more of my music on My Space - account name adwinsave - the music there is somewhat more 'commercial' and are mostly studo productions.

    fg

  • Great! Inspired music. Whatever you do for another, you do for yourself. Best wishes

  • awesome dad thats skoooocum like cucumbers mmmm waffles can we have waffles for breakfast sometime soon mmmmm

  • holy cow !!! I know that song !!

    this is SWEET !

  • Hi,

I doubt you know the song - it's one of mine and was never released - but thanks again for the kudos,

    fg

  • Another awesome piece of art F.G., Had to fav this one also

    peace

    ~Miki~

  • LOL! I'm glad you appreciate my artistry so much, but like every one of us I am a mere mortal as imperect as any othe.

But Thanks for the udos :-))

    fg

  • What can I say??? I am back on my knee again my dear

FractalBuddha.. Thank you so much for sharing with us "mortals" your Glorie..

    Lots of love to you.
