  • i cannot beat THAT GAME!!

  • 0:43 Kinda reminds me of Six String Orchestra.

  • dg

  • ok

  • Soon in about 10=20 years this game will become a classic.XD

  • The recurring theme to the music from Yoshi's Island DS is 'Maid With The Flaxen Hair'...

  • @KasHCubeD I've noticed that, it's soo cool that they did that, do you know why though?

  • I listen to this when my family takes a walk in the park. :3

  • The only good music in the game. Which is too bad, considering how great the game is (and you won't find many harder to 100%).

  • fun theme!!!

  • So cheerful :)

  • This an the forest theme are just amazing

  • The reason I don't like Yoshi's Island DS is because of its sadistic difficulty. Especially since this is a game targeted for kids. I really hate playing this game.

  • I love this song ^-^

  • Is there a piano sheet for this song?

  • all athletic musics of Mario games, remember-me the cowboys and the farmers.

  • I prefer Yoshi's Island DS to the original; sue me.

  • @Kirbychu1 no need. you're right.

  • i really dont like much of any music from this game, sept' this

  • PROTONJON STORY TIME!

  • music reminds of hillbillies.

  • I Miss this game i was only 9 Levels Away From Getting Baby Wario (which is my favorite Mario Baby.) but i can't because my mum ACTALLY Put her DSI down the loo because she had it in her back pocket Me & my mum are well Gutted *sigh* oh well that means i can't play it anymore *sighs sadly* my mum even cryied herself to sleep :( i am so sad this was one of my Favorite Game xD

  • @evefan08 Take the cart and the gba cart out (this is assuming you didnt throw it away) and put the DS in a dry place for about 10 hours. It should work fine, provided you dont drop it again... and this is speaking from experience Dx

  • I just played this level today.

  • Seriously hate yoshi :S

  • best Yoshi game i played so far and good music

  • best. i subscribed just because of the music

  • May I ask how do you get music from recent video games?

    I can't seem to find any T3T

  • i like boing its level something idk right now

  • is the game cool

  • @mrhalo121

NO! THIS GAME SUCKS! DON'T GET IT!

  • @supermariomanfan ok thx man

  • Yoshi!

  • In the last part, Yoshi will have to use Baby Peach to float on several wind gusts with no floor of platform at all. Lakitu is introduced in this level.

  • Windblown Wilderness is Level 2-3 of Yoshi's Island DS. It is the first level of the game set in a Wild West-type background. As the name suggests, the level focuses mainly on Baby Peach's ability to float on winds. Windblown Wilderness introduces numbered platforms, which lose a number every time the player step on them and disappear after hitting 0. There are also ridable balloons which the player can jump on, and they slowly float upwards.

  • it is in ssbb. if you have it, go in ssbb and check in my music there you can hear the remix

  • @BensPictures the remix of this sucks though IMO

  • Does this game have wi-Fi???? I saw one cover in net not in shops it had Wi-Fi Sign on it and instead of it sayind "Yoshis Island DS" it said "Yoshis Island 2" is that cover real or fake

  • that was a beta picture

  • @no1cardinalfanyaho no it wasn't it is the case

  • i couldn't live without technology video games are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love this song!!

  • this is so familiar...was this is in SSBB?

  • yes i think it was

  • ok it has been a while since i played brawl

  • Is was indeed.

  • Wow, I hear certain insturments which I never actually heard when playing (I'm playing YI2 again after a while). This theme is very catchy and... funny.

  • 1:02 - 1:30 favourite part.

    5/5 great job ;D

  • 0:00 - 3:08 Was my favorite part!

  • I always listen to dis on a hot day with tha wind blowing and stuff since I live in Texas

  • Petey1: Lol! This does ound like summer music, I'd never thought to play this music on a hot day, that sounds nice ;) In The Name Of Texas, Yall!

  • Yea. There was another instance where I would play this music, the house I used to live at had a very strong fan in my room. I would leave trash everywhere, and at night the fan would blow at top speed and the trash would blow around like a tornado so I called it the "windblown wilderness"

  • Petey: Heh, that's pretty neat ;) Nintendo rules.

  • @SergeOfArniVillage

but artoon, the company that made this game, doesn't.

  • Love this game a lot. Best track of all of the whole game. Music wasn't that good with the exception of this track. Title screen music was really good too. Great game. One day I have to finish getting 100% on this. It's harder than the original YI. :-(

  • This is my favorite song in the game. Too bad you don't hear it a lot.

  • The whole soundtrack was great, except the Castle music IMO. The Title Screen Music is beautiful, but no one hears it because you have to wait a while to hear it.

  • I wish people would stop comparing new games to old ones. It's like comparing apples to peanut butter--there is no correlation. I think people would enjoy newer games more if they didn't constantly compare them to the classics. I'm not saying you shouldn't like old games, but give the new ones a chance, would you?

  • Truer words have never been spoken.

  • @TheSelim True dat. Those words are like Confucious quality.

  • @TheSelim

Old Pokemon fans need to hear that.

  • @TheSelim The voice of reason is beautiful

  • @TheSelim

I gave this game a chance and I loved it. Sure it is not as good as the first Yoshi's Island but it is still a great game. I like the music of this game too. It is so happy and cute and it makes me happy. Reminds me of Yoshi's Story.

  • @TheSelim I agree completely here...I admit Chrono Trigger and Yoshi Island (SNES) are two amazing games (and that's just a couple) but I got Yoshi Island for DS and loved it. It's like comparing Mario Galaxy to Super Mario World...there really is no comparison in all honesty they are just too different of games. Comparing Mario Galaxy to Mario 64 would be more fair but still not as their basic principles are different.

That said I LOVE this tune hums it while posting for my friend.

  • @TheSelim Usually, it's the other way around.

  • @TheSelimwell,yes you may be right

  • @TheSelim I disagree. It's not like apples and oranges or, as you say apples and peanut butter. They bare the same name.

imho The game was good, it just wasn't as good as the original. I suppose if I didn't compare it to the original, it'd be a great game, but I couldn't help but go into this game expecting it to be AS good as SMW2. They got rid of items, the soundtrack, the fact that it didn't take an arm and a leg to get 100%, the cool minigames. Otherwise it was a good game.

  • i loved riding the balloons

  • hehe... i was surprised this soundtrack had so many terrible tracks. I had to check the cart again just to make sure it was a Mario title. This is the most listenable song, but otherwise stick to Yoshi's Island on SNES for great music :)

  • Terrible tracks? Only if you're expecting the two games to be the same. If you listen to the songs in their own rite, they're quite cute and maybe a bit uplifting in some parts.

  • I personally wouldn't go so far to say they are terrible... but I did find the tracks in this game disappointing since I expected the music of this one to be the same caliber of the original. The music in this one is good, just not AS good.

  • This is such a fantastic game!

  • I used to love playing to this song!!

  • BEST SONG EVER!

  • Just like many others have said, this is like the only good song in the entire game.

  • this is a great song, i just wish the game hadn't been so lackluster. It wasn't necessarily BAD imo, but far from being even close to the original in comparison

    but i love this song!

  • The only good song in the game IMO.

  • Man, sometimes I'll catch myself singing this song in my head! It's such a cool song!

  • Awesome song.BAD game.The orginal Yoshi's Island is MUCH,MUCH Better than this one.(IMO)

  • I agree in every way possible.

  • Dude, this is not bad one bit. Though it is harder than the original, but not bad.

  • I love this song. <3

  • Best song in the game. Only other song I liked was the Mini-Boss music. Otherwise...so disssapointing. I was so exicted for this game too. V_V

  • So this is where that song in SSBB is from...

  • Well, this is the original from Brawl!

I like it, and as mentioned-

it's like one of the only good songs IN yoshi's island DS! The soundtrack was a HUGE disappointment!

  • agree the original had better music. but i like some of these too

  • lol... this game was disappointing overall though. i thought it was gonna be as good as the first which had a lot of good songs unlike this one.

  • Good song...

  • This was the only good music in that game. Some tunes were just poor.

  • Never played the game, but I love that song :D

  • Sounds like a Western town.

  • love this music!

  • The best music in the game. Actually it might be the only music I liked. :S

  • @SupraDarky I agree

  • @SupraDarky me too

  • @SupraDarky Coïncedence, this is the only music in the game which I remember as well. In school I suddenly start humming this and had no clue where it was from again. Yoshiii! It took me 10 seconds to recognize again. Thanks for the upload, I see we your favourite VGM's are the same as mine alot :)

Oh well, the great composers always get the attention they deserve I suppose!
