What an annoying, creepy voice.

Luckily I downloaded the free trial, cos this product is complete shite. It makes what should be an easy task more difficult. Even muting an audio track is not a straightforward task, not to mention crossfading. It's like they didn't want a simple design because complicated = professional. Such an appallingly geeky ethos. It's such a shame that this is badly designed. If it was as easy to use as the inefficient memory hog Magix Movie Edit it would be great.

Just a quick question, for this program can you have more than 1 audio track playing at the same time? For example, 2 songs playing simultaneously? Windows Movie maker does not have that feature which is why I'm considering Corel

Just import an audio file into VideoStudio, It'll show up as another selectable audio track. then, just drag and drop! very easy.

I have been trying to remove pre-existing voice audio from a video but keep the pre-existing music audio. Is this possible?

Unless they are on separate tracks, left and right, they are pretty much locked together. There is, however, a filter in the audio view called "Voice Reduction". I have no idea how well it works but it's worth a try.

What I would like to learn is how to match up my cd quality guitar and vocal with the video. How do I get them syncronized together?

You can. It already does that when dragging the audio to your video.
