Export it with "3D view > Export to OBJ format..." from Sweet Home 3D and import the OBJ file in Blender.

Sweet Home 3D doesn't manage multiple levels yet.

Read its user's guide or help to change floor color and texture.

Apologies, its me again. One other thing you can clarify: When I import furniture, the zip file extracts into a file that my windows xp says unknown file. The file properties say it is an .OBJ type file. How do I proceed and follow th erest of th steps as in your video. many thanks once again HF

Hi, your video is a good quick quide to Sweet home. A couple of points to improve your video: a. slow down the pointer so that the viewer can follower better and b. choose a different highlight of the pointer to better track your point movement. Great job. HF
