Pleo Review and basic Info you haven't heard a million times before

I really want one, in your opinion do you think its worth it? I mean do you play with it alot and are they not annyoing like the Furbie was? Let me know what you think!!

well, honestly, my life's been buisy and i haven't played with him in FOREVER. so i don't know. it does get old afer a week or so. but my biggest concern if how much his toes drag on the carpet, slowing him down. and how he dosn't like to be picked up. but that may be just my personal one. they are A TON of fun, if you like dinos or robots. so yeah, it was worth it. but think about how badly you want something before you get it.

Yeah i heard alot of negative things about them not being able to walk on carpet, the manufacturer should have a warning about something so important.. Im still gonna get one for christmas cause they are only $150 on Qvc .Thats interesting yours doesnt like to get picked up most of the people i have asked say cuddling with them is the best part!! Maybe whoever had it opened before you got him picked him up by his tail alot or something..

glad i could help. but like i said, no two pleos are the same, so i'd ask some other people if their pleo hates being picked up, too. and tell me what they say. XD

they also have re-vamped pleo's mechanics for christmas, os the new ones may walk better. but are worth much more.

I was too young to really remember when DVD players came out. I remember using a VCR when I was a little kid though. How old are you? Like 18? Cause I remember you saying you were old enough to vote, and that video might be sort of old.

i am almost 20, have seen 3 presidents rise and two fall HAAARD. i'm tired of hearing people complain about Obama. we finally get ONE president who's actually HONEST and people call him crazy for trying so hard.

also: ah, VCRs. we called them 'tapes' instead of 'VHS' back then.

well, the guy who made them up also made up Furbies. you can tell the two are related because the mechanism of the eye is similar and they ask for food using the same 'ah. ah' sound. he's always been into animatronics and designed a long-neck dino for a toy company and the marketers said it had to be able to fight other dinos, but it never panned out. years later, someone saw the dino robot and it all just took off from there. so probably.. as much as 10 years ago?

I see, I never liked furbies much, I had one that my friend gave to me and it woke me up at night. Bad furbie! And I didn't know how to do much with it because being a dorky kid I lost the guide.

Ha, so the marketers wanted to make this dino that you have be able to fight others? I couldn't picture morgan doing that.

=D right! he's a much more wholesome little guy. i don't like mixing children with violence. what does that teach them, after all? that problems are solved with hostility and anger instead of honesty good will and such.

yeah, i think you're right, they seem to get smarter. i haven't played with mine in a wile, though! but i don't think he'll mind!

and: when i have kids, they'll only get to watch the educational channels. i LOVED those when i was little, os maybe my kids will, too. and NO TV at all before 6 years old. =3

No way, really? I guess I sort of agree... TV is all full of sex and hidden shit now. And I can't stand the personalities of the characters on the disney channel (Hannah montana, suite life of zach and cody..). The antagonists are such bitches and I think it rubs off on girls.

difenatley, the characters are shirt. but personally, sex dosn't bother me like violence does, and curse words don't bother me at all. MINDLESS sex is a bad influence on young adults, for sure!
