Excellent tutorial, PT. A lot to cover in less than 10 minutes and you did it exceptionally well. Everything sounds perfect. "...play along with it." Great advice, too. Thank you.
I will stick to drums, this is just too much I was done at 1:02..guitar was always mind boggling to me...how does someone think this stuff up ? On the houses ver. was it a 12 ? it sounds so completely full.
Hey man this helped me a lot, thanks!!!! If you could help me out with the scale run at 8:32 that would be amazing. I've been trying to figure it out but I haven't been able to yet :(.
I've only been playing guitar for about 6 or 7 months now and i can play the begining to this song just about as good as this guy and im trying to learn the rest of it , think i can get any tips fro anyone or maby a reference to how good im doing so far ?
Great job on the lesson! you covered everything well with no dilly dally and as you mentioned in under ten minutes. Guitar looks and sounds great, keep'm comming! : )
Thank you soo muchhh, man oh man, you're helping me enormously with all your videos, I really appreciate it. Again, thanks. By the way, I really dig your guitar even when you say it's out of tune, it sounds a hundred times better then my own. Thanks for these lessons again, I couldnt say thank you enough. :) Take care man.
Thank you so much for your lessons man. They are much appreciated. I won't even attempt to learn a song unless I think it is highly accurate. I just prefer to play songs with as authentic a sound as possible. I only discovered your account on here a couple weeks ago and I sure am glad I did. You and I really love the same music and now thanks to you, I have these incredibly authentic-sounding lessons to learn so many of my favorite songs from.
PT, I cant thank you enough. This is the first song that I can play all the way through. I greatly appreciate it. I owe you money.

You are the only one on youtube playing this right, thanks much. You provide the live version intro piece at 4:44, so I can basically die happy now.

@woll3Y He actually does that same little lick in the studio version, too. Easier to hear it on the live one, though.

@woll3Y Have you seen Marty Schwartz's Lesson for This? He has the intro part Posted and part two, The main riff.

chord at 3:30 is A# 6, a Major 6th chord, or a G m7, Minor 7th chord.

I believe there is an electric part to this song, no?
silverfrost1 1 year ago
@silverfrost1 Yes, there is indeed.
privettricker 1 year ago
At 3:15 ish that chord is Bb major. Then up to c major.
guitarzilla100 1 year ago
@guitarzilla100 Almost -- you have to leave the G and high E strings open.
privettricker 1 year ago
Not to nit pick but I believe the low pull off part in the intro is ABEBDED not ABDEDED. Great stuff otherwise though!

is that chord at 5.30 the same as the start of beatles' eight Days A week?
69nisab 2 years ago
Yes, it's a D. It's also the first chord in Substitute, and it's pretty common in pop songs.
