We removed the diabolos and we are trying to give him the chance of living that someone tried to took away. It is so sad to find people like that, but what you did to Alera it is an inspiration to all human kind. I know it wasnt easy. so to you: Bravo!

Not many people would care enough to take care for him the way that you do. But please don't pick him up like that. You can't pick cats up by their arms, it hurts and that was why he was crying and started getting mad. Pick him up under his belly or by the scruff of his neck. How is this cruel? The cat's back legs are crippled so he wouldn't be able to properly use the litterbox, so a special diaper is used to keep the kitty from leaving droppings all over the place. This man clearly loves his little cat despite all the special care he needs, so keep your 'cruelty' comments to yourself if you don't know what the situation is.

I am sad even now answering this to you. Check archives before condemning me killing me own furkid. I fed him ORS and MILK from night I came back till I went off around 1am. He left his body 10 hours later.

Below is from my vet statement,

'With the amount of fluid u fed him n the huge volume of urine he released at time of death, i can bet one million us dollars he didn't die of dehydration. He had died of complication due to renal failure, possibly septicaemia ....cont'

I am sure 99% of pet owners would have given up on him early on.Trust me, u can grieve n mourn, but blaming urself for trying to save alera is definitely the most cruel punishment u can dish out for urself. I am sure alera is very sad on the otherside cos the one guy who treat him the best saving him blaming himself. Do yourself a favor, keep the good memory of alera.

I am sorry to hear that, yeah if Alera had diarrhea, the diaper will not hold much and also very messy, but it is better than nothing on or your whole house will smell. A good diet and clean water will avoid diarrhea though :)

I took her to the vet & had her stool checked for parasites but none were found but she is getting medicine in case. Its actually getting better now. She is getting Eagle Pack a high end food & fresh water.
