Jap version came out first, they took it out of the english version and the JPN Universal Tuning version.

It used to be a combo move that branched from certain attacks, it was too OP so they nerfed it by making it an independent attack.

@legendkilla50 you have to master a brave skill then when you learn it you have to equip it and use it after you use the brave move that corresponds with it

He only learns it when he masters the ability. I cant remember the name.. I think it is swift attack/ tempest and another..

how do you perform combos anyway??? I mean when the sign "x" appears, when I press "x" I enter chase mode...which is not a "combo" i see in this video....how do you perform this combos on zidane please

dont press ''x''. X enters chase mode bout activating chase wont allow you to form A combo so use an attack when it says ''x''

Are you playing the English version? Free Energy lost its ability to combo directly with his air attacks in the ENG version.

Hmm... Seeing how you can dodge into the same attacks *vortex to vortex/tempest to tempest* what will be the legal amount of repetitions in a tournament? Vortext/vortex/tempest//tempes­t/swift attack/free energy has 2 repetitions... is it legal to try and triple it? *3x vortex/3x tempest/swift attack/free energy* or is 2x the limit *though there aren't set rules on this (though there might) I'm just asking for opinion?

i think 2x should be the limit in tournaments, tho when facing someone via ad-hoc party or x-link u shouldnt do any repeats. (People in japan doesnt like getting hit with the same move twice in one combo)

btw doing tempest more then 2 times in the high-air will be hard because each time tempest hits opp goes lower. (max tempest chain 4 times?)

you don't need any abilities to do it, you just have to push the analog stick in one direction and then quickly push it in another direction before the dodge ends, if you did it right, your character will dodge halfway in one direction, then quickly dodge halfway in another direction.

It's very hard to do a Trun Dodge for me? How do you do it? Do I have to unequip Aerial Evasion+ and/or Evasion Efficiency+?

And actually I found that there're some combos that is better if you hit them in the back,. For example, I do Turn Dodge->Vortex instead of RDodge-> Vortex. Try it...

In my opinion, dodge cancel combos are only OK if you don't use the same move twice, know what I'm sayin. DC makes the game so screwy you need a freakin code of honor to play it. If there was an option to play without the brave break bonus it wouldn't be such a big deal.
