@sjiyuey if you like this kind of truck with dual steering, not very fast then yes it worth the money. Crawford Performance now have the upgrade parts to make it go brushless, that means you get good speed too and more power

@sjiyuey I hate to say it but unless you can get it for under $200 then no its not worth it. This system is basicly built to be a alternative to the ClodBuster but the plastics are very weak, and so to make this truck handle any thing more then your back yard you will have to buy clodbuster axels/link arms... This system strait out of the box i had many lose screws witch almost cost me my spur gear, also had many problems with the Reciver i couldnt go much more then 40 ft w/ the truck

@sjiyuey The Best i can say about this system is replacement parts arnt very expensive and shipping is quick, so if you order in bulk you can run the thing for ever... i am do for a new front axel so i am thinking on buying ClodBuster duel motor axels for a total of 4 motors hehehe i probly wont go that far. I am just looking for the right axels on ebay. Too be truthful with you though to get the type of fun you r probly really looking for go w/ the Mad beast by Exceed rc.

@sjiyuey for the Cash i sank in to my Ground pounder replacing the radio system $30.00 the motor & Esc$80.00 as well as the upgrade parts /Lock out steering kit, steel drive lines,Metal axel spider gears ect, 41 tooth spur, and 13 tooth pinion gear $49.00 on top of a truck that was $239.00 oh lets not forget i had to buy lypo batterys for the brushless motor had to have 2 of those to have any fun at $35.00 each. I Look at my self now as not being wise to shop around. Exceed Rc 1/8 Mad Beast.

TrooperManaic No bro this is well above the Wheely king witch gets 15 mph Top speed this little bad boy will do a top speed of 28 mph with the stock motor in it. If you spend a little cash for upgrades from crawfordperformanceengineering com u can Mod this system for a brushless, just get the lowprofile motor mounts and the back wheel steering lock out kit to stablize ur truck for a brushles set up and i am sure you could get another 15mph out of this beast, better then most electrics ou there

@alishanmao I know its probly not company policy to recomend other Items aside from Redcat Items, but what would be the best battery pack i could get, i am looking to find a pack i can get 1+hours of run time if not up to 2 hours, our local RC track is 10miles from my house so to realy get a good time out of my RC i don't want to be runing back and forth for charging my packs... I figure by now with all the RC's you have you would be the guy to ask about the best packs for this System...Thx.

@dragonkeeperjoe81 no worries with me :D i can recommend things out of company. but to get 1 hour plus run time on a single battery is not possible, you need to buy more batteries and buy a compact charger that you can use on track or in your car to charge batteries.

@alishanmao I have posted my video of my brushless ground pounder, with a few tweeks and upgrades from CPE its now short course ready... i want to state though to any one intested in this system, If you buy it be sure all screws nuts ect are tight and snug befor you run it... This system is ontly RTR after you do this, cuz right out the box i found many lose parts and it almost cost me my spur gear :( How ever parts from Redcat arnt very expensive so buying in bulk is no problem. loving it Ali!

This can't be compared to an E-Maxx. They are two different trucks. This is solid axle, single motor while E-Maxx has independent suspension and twin motors. I have one coming and it's going brushless. I love the cage on this truck and the side body posts-cleaner look. Will post video when it arrives and it's completed.

Another major difference is that this truck is about as close to a modern monster truck as any other RC out in the world right now. Thats why videos like this make this truck look unimpressive. A monster truck doing a hillclimb is straight out of the 1980's. Show me this truck running over pan car bodies stacked in a row or hitting steep dirt jumps. DON'T for the love of god show it doing what they have in this video. It doesn't show it off as the monster replica that it is.

most likely you might be more happy with an emaxx because of the fact, its a bashable vehicle that performs well. This is a nice RC and probably would make a nice crawler but thats all I see it as, by watching this video I notice that this pales in comparison to the wheely king that they are trying to copy from. "I have a wheely king"

Twin EDF jets are my fav, if it is big like twin 120mm Ducted fans, with bomb pods, and retracts, that is going to be my fav plane ;) normally 6 to 7 channels are good ;) in scaled planes, i love big scale war birds preferably with radial engines. ;)

We are working on many things for the Ground Pounder. The first to come will be a crawler conversion kit. When that is complete you can expect some other cool things with a nitro version in the works but the nitro version is not yet confirmed due to the many changes that are needed.
