  • Kalahari,there is place for braai, the place looks much better now.

  • when i was last there they had a tunrstile to charge you a fee to go in , and i seem to recall some wankey tourist shop, but not sure about the shop

    wolfgang, presently vienna, austria, back from earthquake zone apulia/italy last week - wasn't fun when the walls in the hotel started to move at about 4 o'clock in the morning

  • i jumped off the pumping station on the far side in 84.the 1st time it felt as if i had hit terminal velocity, i bruised the soles of my feet i hit the water so hard, so idiot decided to take the 2nd jump with his flip flops on, and hit the water at an angle, and smashed my back into the water. eina

    I gave up jumping in after that:))

  • In 1997 i swim cross to the other side in this otjikoto lake !!

  • about 10km north west of the town of Tsumeb in northern namibia, it has numerous kinds of unique blind and mouth breeeding fish

  • yipe and if you throw bread into the lake, you get masses of them at the surface eating it. so many some are actually out of the water on top of other fish
