@DirtMcGrit Turn the gain on your amp all the way down and hook the dd-1 up to your amp. Turn the epicenter up until it distorts on the dd-1, back it off, then turn the amplifier gain up until it distorts. Then you can turn the epicenter all the way up on the songs you want to and you know it wont be distorting.

I got the exact same max volume on my O-scope too! 24. The sucky part for my brother is he didn't want to get a 4 channel for the Suburban so we had to use the hi-lvl for the mids and highs...losing so much volume for the subs.

if your high inputs clip at vol. 25, but the lows dont distort to vol 33. and you set your mids and highs to vol 24, if you cant turn the vol. to 30 with the high imputs wouldent you not be getting full low input

Im a bit of a home audio nut, what with 900 rms pumpin through the dd3500 under my desk, ac to dc converters, 1100 watt surround off of my computers digital signal... Please don't answer if you don't know.

You can't "choose" because if you go past volume 24, the high level is distorting. So therefore, Max volume is 24, regardless what the low level RCA distorts at. And setting at 33, doesn't maximum the amps potential because max volume is only 24.

Why did you set the RCA's at 33, when the max volume you want to turn the headunit up to is 24 cause of the high level? I know that's the max for low level, but wouldn't that cause the low level to lack at volume 24?

I didnt mean to cause confusion but i was simply showing how to use them both, individually for different situations. KEEP IN MIND EVERYONE - the two line drivers were set up using high and low level inputs. I wouldnt normally use both high and low on the same system, this was JUST to demonstrate how to do each one individually. Normally, as you might guess, one or the other would be used but not both at the same time.

@3mmanuelll the more power you send the amp, the lower the gain is overall and that keeps everything clean. Imagine your amp putting out FULL clean power with the gains only up a very very little bit, if at all. :) Also, you can google the rockford fosgate 3sixty line driver and get some info on the ones i am using here.

since the bass doesn't distort till much higher should,t you go more on gain till it better match's the mid/highs otherwise you will never get full bass since mid/high will distort at 24 ?
