Power and peace be with us. :) and would it be too much to say that the intense ceremonial feel of this song makes me feel like we don't have to be afraid of dying, that there is much more to life than we know today.

i don't want to sound ignorant, but i don't understand why she pronounces some words strangely - saying "tumbling down" like "tumbling dewn", and saying "is hot" like "is hoot". is that just how she expresses the music? it really comes out in her live performances of "me and a gun", and i just don't know what to make of it...

(Italicizing words etc) I am an American but I am upset w/where our version of English is going & has gone. I say "TwenTy" & "WaTer" & people look@me like I have done some horrid injustice. That is the word-it is a "T" & surely not a "d". Just b/c some lazy people slur their speach -doesn't mean i should become incorrect. Tori's also aware of such.

I adore this version... Sure her first live versions of this song were incredible, so much pain when she sang her. This version though, she sings so matter-of-factly. Sings it with passion yet with a more logical explanation hidden in her voice. Pain yes, but a good sense of why life can be so difficult. Tori has evolved that much.
