good response, somdude04. Sadly so many newbies to swing get into aerials before they understand partner connection then can't fathom why their shoulders/knees/elbows hurt even if they never were dropped/dropped someone.
It is the misfortune of Lindy that people rush into aerials too soon.

Thanks for the concern. This was from nearly two years ago, before I ever took formal training. Now, I've had roughly 200 to 300 hours of formal classes, along with another 600 hours of time on a social floor. I honestly cringe when I watch this video nowadays. I hardly if ever do aerials now, and encourage others to spend a long, long time dancing before trying to do them. After all, even Frankie Manning had been dancing for 7 years before he even tried an aerial.

@somdude04 Do you have more recent videos? It's always cool to see people's progression. You can use this as a cautionary tale for newer dancers :)
