  • I like your little tangerine March!

  • or you can just drive a smart car and back enough so that ur not over the thingy ma jig

  • I would hete to have a low profile for my car

  • Nice system of car parking.

  • Cool! I get my driving lessons in one of those Nissan Micras

  • Awesome. Quality camera or not, it's still a good video. Much love for Japan.

  • Mexico should get this in the city of Monterrey my dad has already lost 2 trucks because of theft in big cities in Mexico :(

  • i like your car, is cute C:

  • a micra! my friend drives one, it's a nice car.

  • Something tells me this would be great in steep places. :)

  • the park around the corner from my house has automatic parking lots for bicycles. you set your bike on the elevator thingy, put in your money and then it takes your bike into a storage area underneath the park. so nothing is visible except the elevator door. pretty cool!! maybe they have them other places around the city, but i've only noticed this one in my hood.

  • Orange car! :D

  • Thank you for the video, another cool idea.

I may have a hard time parking my car in those type of spot since I sit low to the ground.

    Thumbs up.

  • We need these in the us !!!

There are way too many driving idiots here ! >-<

  • Video quality looks great!

  • Really interesting!

unfortunately I don't believe that system would work if you had a SUV...

  • I Can really see a tall american made truck drive right over that...thumb up If you thought the same...

  • you could totally drive over that if your car had enough clearance. Like mine :D

  • @creepyzebra

Have a look at the "stealing stuff" video in the video responses.

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom If the Japanese would never think of stealing, then why lock the cars in?

  • @creepyzebra If the rail extends far out enough then even a jacked up pickup would have trouble.

The rail may have only stopped on those cars to prevent damaging them?

  • @creepyzebra 100 bucks that you're an american

  • @DeeFRecords Nope English but living in Australia. Australians drive big cars for no real reason.

  • nope not in states..... awesome tho

  • Quality seems good to me. For youtube anyway.

  • Never seen anything like this from where i am from! Thanks for sharing!!

  • very good quality

  • What video editing software do you use now? Or what do you recommend?

I use Corel VideoStudio X3 but I don't know how to use it properly though...

  • The quality isent good, people must have bad eyes or something. XD

    But i dont mind.

We do not have this kind of thing in Sweden.

  • i wonder how many dolphins and whales had to die for that machine.

  • those with 33"+ off-road tires would get free parking.

  • @joshpit2003 Didn't see much of those in Japan though!

  • @fenhrir yeah, haha. I guess thats true. I've never been there but is there even any place to off-road or is the whole island pretty much in-use?

  • @joshpit2003 There's a lot of forest and mountains in Japan from what I saw, so there must be some people with big wheels...but it doesn't seem to be in their culture.

It' not like north america where we have huge pick up trucks! :)

  • @joshpit2003 well, the japanese have better morals than to do that...

  • The audio is a bit low.

  • The automatic part was not clear to me or what the purpose of the car lot was. I am 1/2 asleep right now...but I did not get the point of the car lot. These kinds of mechanisms basically do not exist in the US. So for US viewers, I don't think anyone can say anything regarding "we have this" or "i see this here" as it is all basic, manual and unimaginative here re car parking.

  • The video is not filling out the 16:9 window but the quality is just fine.

  • that's pretty cool! =O

  • I already saw car parks like this and I didn't understand I was like why does this thngs stand there x'D But I don't now where it was... I think it was in Germany xD

  • well if i park there, while paying, since i do not understand japanese, i would probably end up paying for a few other people before i get to me

  • seen a lot of those in Japan! We do not have those ones here in Gemany! But I was scared of using them, because I thought I will never understand the working of the display mashine ;)

  • there we have the MICRA :D

  • Quality's fantastic. Better than your other vids.

    Peace from Oz

    xx

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom do they ever brush their teeth?

  • ahah I'd love to see those stop my wrangler rubicon.

  • if a Japanese owns a pickup truck or 4x4 will these parking lots be relevant from.. let's say auto theft?

  • Nice car ;) Haha

  • never seen those in Canada before, they look great. I wonder though, what happens if that yellow rail does not lower itself after you've paid and now you cant get out? Is there a quick way to manually lower it? Or does some attendant pop up from somewhere?

  • Awesome! Never seen one of those.

Also (on the quality of the video),If you pause during... 1:00, around there you notice a lot of jagged lines. I was wondering if maybe it's the quality of the video or maybe your camera. Just thought you should look into that.

  • That's awesome! I've never seen anything like that! What a great idea!

  • Now thats safety first!

  • the video quality is more than ok... I'd say it's definitely an improvement. great video.

  • The video quality is great.

    Great video.

  • New car hey?

What happened to the other one you were driving?

  • hey guys...

  • WOOT NEW CAMERA!!!

  • This is a much better system than we have here, Japan is a wonderous place to live. You will get the hang of the new camera sooner or later.

  • The quality is great, no complains on any of your videos :)

Thanks old dude, I like your videos even before I watch them, since I always know something good comes up :)

    Kanpai!

  • the video quality is just fine

  • Did you get a new car?

  • Those will put alot of gadoman out of work. Since you have to pay for it to release your car, does it pop up automaticly when you park there? Like can it sense your car is there?

  • @wolvermonkey yup, it knows that a car is there after the tires roll over it once. I tested it by jumping on it, and it comes up, but lowers right away when there isn't an undercarriage of a car to stop it from raising all the way.

  • Good way to stop drunk driving, need those in america

  • Sorry for off-topic question by the way, keep up the great work!

  • Sorry for off-topic question :) Keep up the good work!

  • Very interesting & efficient! Never seen anything like it before:)

Love to see how your channel climb higher and higher on the list "Most Subscribers - Japan", you really deserve it!

Something I'v given a little thought lately is, often when I see a Japanese person in an interview or something close up I'v noticed that very many of them have untreated teeths, the teeth seem to often pile up on eachother. Is it something that is common to the Japanese or is very expensive to treat in Japan?

  • that is neet.....better than the stupid wooden draw bridge thingy

  • The quality is great! That method of parking would prevent alot of car theives!

  • do you know of anyh place to find japanese music? like playlist.com

  • thumbs up that was pretty cool xD

  • I imagine that if you had a sizable SUV, you wouldn't have to pay and you could drive away laughing maniacally, feeling like you had conquered the world.

Also, the quality is not so good here- not sure whether it is different in different regions because I see some comments below that suggest it's fine. The viewable area is also much smaller than the size of the box... maybe temporary? anyway, not a complaint- just giving you feedback.

  • I'm glad we don't have that in San Diego! Some parking lots are not city-owned, they're owned by businesses and sometimes the business isn't related to the businesses around the parking lot. There have been many times where I've been running late or don't have change and I've parked in these pre-pay lots but I did not pay. You can't get a ticket since the police won't get involved. It is a private business matter. It's kinda on an honor system but I've "heard" of people getting towed.

  • @tarantarans Whoops, I meant San Diego, California, USA. I keep forgetting not all YT'ers aren't Americans. :)

  • @tarantarans Grrrr...double negative in my last sentence took away my meaning. I meant, "I keep forgetting not all YT'ers are American. Ah, screw it. You know what I mean. :P

  • thank YOU for being so dedicated ^_^

  • um.... so, its an anti-theft thing as well as a way to make sure you pay for your spot?

  • The quality is good...think your last camara was alittle better but the difference isn't huge either way. Pretty minimal.

I've never seen those before ._."

    <.<" Then again...where I live theres not even parking meters sooo...yeah :D

  • with the same system you can park your bikes downtown in Tokyo :)

  • Is this an HD camera?

Cause if it is I think you can upload it in full quality :)

    But great video :D

  • Ypu shuld do a update video on the car parking lot vending machines.

  • The quality is Super!

We don't have such things in my country...we don't even have GMRS...It's so amusing to see countries, which have something like that!

    Thank you!

  • Never saw that in Germany. And our parkingmachines do not talk either.

  • nope still use parking meters here in the U.S.

  • Nice quality.

we don't have those here :<

  • That was pretty neat... The only thing they do here is that if you get caught they will put a metal tire boot on your car so you can't drive away.

  • That's cool, but i would be afraid of any malfunctions...as with any electronic device. It could damage your car bad. So that risk/reward trade off seems high

  • i wonder why you did't get an mini HD camera? They'r not that expensive , around 80-120$.

    Nice video!

  • The quality is fine and what an interesting invention.

  • The quality MIGHT be slightly worse than the last one, but it's not very much. Anyway, I live in America and maybe we have those in certain cities, but I haven't seen one before. Pretty cool.

  • this is very new to me, but i grew up in a very small town, so there isnt as much high techy stuff happening here lol

  • what software are you using now?

  • do you rent cars?

  • new camera or old camera always good stuff in your channel

  • awesome

  • looks neat! unfortunately it would not work over here. people are not honest enough and would drive over them to get out of paying :(

  • oh wow. that's so cool

  • Great video once again. =)

Video quality is great, so don't worry. If video quality gets BAD we will let you know about it. Keep uploading these videos.

    Excellent work! =)

  • I think the quality is pretty good.

This parking idea is great, they should have it in our country.

  • very cool

  • I just realized that almost everything talks to you :) Makes it more personal I really like that :)

I'm checking everyday for new videos from you! Thanks so much for spending so much efford in that!!!!!!!

  • @bigxebo

Sure.. have a look at my "talking machines" video (I think it is in the gadgets play list)

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom oh wow I really thought I watched every vid from you but I sure missed them... Thanks!

  • @bigxebo

Yeah, there is 411 videos so far..

The play lists help find the stuff you are most interested in ^_^

  • That looks dangerous if you have a low clearance sports car. What is that thing damages the underbody of your car when it raises?

  • @hungimahar no,it has a sensor,so it recogmises the distance from the car and stops at the apropriate hight

  • @hungimahar I was thinking that too, there is probably a sensor or something that makes the rail stop when it touches the car.

  • Cool, it's the first time I've seen this system... In France and Portugal they use the cloture park system, with one entrance and one way out...

  • The quality is a bit better, but it was even better in the "Amazing floor" video. I think you should stick to that.

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom it looks a bit better. Although, I can still tell that it has either been stretched or cropped... Sometimes I really hate formats... Maybe there is a setting when you export your video that tells you to 'preserve letterbox' or something similar. That might get rid of the 'black mat bleed' on your videos. It's hard to tell without looking at what is going on. I know, I have had similar trouble. Although, I do like where you are headed with your videos!!! : )

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom It looks great i like it that now the resolution on the videos are higher well at least the ratio so the pixels seem to have better quality, just some more experimenting and you'll be good to go.

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom

too me it looks slightly grainy and fuzzy ...worse than the other uploads I'm not kidding ....

  • Geez, what if the electricity goes on the fritz and your car is stuck on the rails. Or maybe a software glitch. I'm afraid I would have to park any other place than a car park with retainer rails.

  • kewl :D wish we had those here :D

  • pixelated and not in australia

  • What if you have a big car with raised suspension? Would the rails be able to reach your car?

  • video quality is good I think.

  • It seems that if you wanted you could easily go over it or it's just me?

  • so clever

  • how much is 100 yen in american dollars?

  • @MovieMakers100 About 1.17 US dollars.

  • @MovieMakers100 100.00 JPY = 1.17343 USD

  • @MovieMakers100 Equivalent 100yen = $1 (generally speaking) but with exchange rates 100yen = 70c .....ish.

  • That was so cool!! I wish I had that in my country. xD

  • We have nothing of such interesting sophistication here in the UK, just crudely painted parking lines and miserly parking attendents. And the quality is actually quite nice, very crisp.

  • The camera quality is better but it over crops the video after you exported it. What kind of software are you running?

  • Very good quality do not worry about that, however the video size was very small, like 50% of it was black space. Good video anyway :)

  • Im not quite sure how its automatic tho..

  • Whats up with the Windowed Video?

  • Bigger the car, less you pay for parking. :)

  • Wow, thats so useful and safe :)
