i listened to this song when i thought my dad was going to die...thank god hes still alive, he was in a car accident involving a 15 year old in a stolen car, he had 6 broken ribs, a broken back, and his head split open...i could not stop crying when the doctors said he will be just fine...i was just so relieved.

Thank you for this post. I wanted my sisters to see the lyrics as well as here the song. One of my sisters forwarded it to the funeral home handling my father's service and they incorporated the song and lyrics into the most beautiful DVD photo history of our lives together. It brought heartfelt joy to an otherwise very sad occasion. We buried him today at the age of 88. Thank you again, it means so much more to see the words and you present them with beautiful simplicity.
