@1984ioc I am quite aware of the geographical definition of Ulster. Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal are/were majority Catholic counties, and would never have agreed to being included in a partition. Ulster is also a political and cultural definition used by Protestants in the 6/9 counties in the province, whose state lies entirely within Ulster. If the majority of a population within a state in a majority of the counties wish to identify with Ulster that's their prerogative.
