I don't really like David but this song is an exception. It's hard to say a specific part that I liked cuz everything was good from start to end but what calls my attention the most was 1:25 - 2:15 how he walks up to the lady & gets her attention to prove the point of the song, then dances his way off w/ the other lady really cool smooth while gradually getting back on stage (the character) then he says "If you're looking for a lover- don't judge a book by it's cover!" & finally the wink @ 2:08

Man it's crazy how much justice Leon does to David Ruffin. The look, the presence, I mean he did lack a little with the energy when he performs as Ruffin on this movie, but hey, no one is perfect. Leon is as close as they come to emulating him there though. I love how they had Louis Price, who was also a Temptation in the late 70s, provide the singing voice for David Ruffin during the live segments too. It suits Leon's face for these performances. God bless Leon for his talent.
