Just received mine today.

Im having a problem of it firing to the left after 60 or so yards. Not sure why it's doing this. Is it because im using only .20g bb's?. I have my .30g bb's on the way for this bad boy, but i want to assure that it will be shooting straight. It doesnt seem right.

Im deciding between this and the Echo 1 M28... One thing I need to know... Which will last longer? I dont want to have to do any upgrading because I am still a beginner.

@jdawgisyodaddy Overall the m28 is a better gun with its higher fps, it has a fluted barrel and the fact that includes two mags makes it a better deal but the Javelin m24 will most likely last longer due to its more reliable internals the part i don't like about the Javelin m24 is that it only fires 400 fps opposed to the Echo1 m28's 500 plus fps which is not to great for a sniper so if you plan on getting the m24 i would upgrade the spring.

However im curious, i have not used spring guns in years. Do they have hop up?, and also, how am i going to calibrate my scope and get it dead on with my BB's?. Im honestly curious.

And...What kind of magazines does this thing take?, I just got in on Airsplat and i couldn't find any for it. That was a bummer, 15 Rounds goes fast.

This gun is really good! I have had a few issues with it though. The magazine broke after a few reloads and one of the screws that holds the gun together came stripped. All in all this gun is very high quality and deserves a look into buying it.

Honestly, the only thing clones are good for is for learning how to work on the gun the clone is of. My first airsoft rifle was an AGM VSR10, my second a TM VSR10. Because i ad worked on my AGM VSR10, i knew how to work on my and others' TM VSR10s.

It's a beast when it's upgraded. But be sure to buy the Classic Army Military version though. If you don't want to upgrade . Then go for the L96A1

@Thelilpros Dude. I can hit a dime from about 30 feet every time and i've hit a sign about a foot wide and three or so feet high from about 180 feet. and a person at 200 ft. Completely stock with .36g bbs. i'm just trying to find out whether it has threads b4 i mess up the paint on the tiny (about 1mm thick) black muzzle cap with pliers. so it might just be you. this thing is solid and my only complaint is the allan screw on the end of the piece that holds the bolt on needs some locktite to stay

@RuthlessNoob i dont work at ASGI, buuut i can tell you that no. fps does not affect distance. now, it CAN however affect whether the player is out. and what i mean by that is that if it hits the player and it doesnt have a lot of velocity behind it, he might not feel it, and if he does it will be very light feeling. so the more pressure you have behind ,the more likely you are to make him jump from the pain when he gets shot from out of nowhere ;) happy hunting!

@rebeldude1865 well, with a higher fps gun, you can use a heavier weighted bb and due to momentum, a gun with 400fps firing a .25g bb will have more range than a 380fps gun firing a .2g. so, indirectly the fps does affect range. but it's kind-of a combination of your inner barrel diameter, inner barrel length, fps, and bb weight.
