  • had a tear in my eye wotchin this,my family lost young men in ww1 such a waste.

  • nice vid , crazy how life turns out ay ?

  • Brought a tear to my eye... briliant video.

  • Sadly my grandmother lost 3 brothers in the Great War - 1 at sea, 1 in Belgium, 1 in Mesopotania (Iraq). Tragic war. They were born at Tobson (Bernara) and relotted to Lundale on Isle of Lewis.

  • That's surely the old MacBrayne's MV "Loch Seaforth" in the last frame.

  • Yes Cal', there for personal sentimental reasons just to fill in the slide show. The Loch Seaforth is how we used to get there in the 50's and 60's, I miss those days and I miss her too. Sorry for any confusion.

  • No confusion - thanks for the memory. Early morn Queen Street Station - Mallaig - Kyle - Stornoway. Every summer without fail.

  • Great video, great tribute.

  • Quality video big man...wha's like us?

  • awesome, the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end watching this, simply due to the fact that i think it must've been a very emotional journey for you.

  • Lovely video.
