@Princeboy99 I went and listened to three dog night's version and although I love their different sound I prefer Joe Cocker bc of the rugged sound in his voice. His voice drips sex but thanx for the suggestion bc I never knew that they did this version.

@mizzy19 Hey Mizzy. That's awesome you checked out 3DN's version! A lot of people aren't aware of their version. I hear what you're saying on Cocker's version. I like his more than Tom Jones'. It is true he has one of the best raspiest voices in music. I love Three Dog Night's version because they make it funny and also fun at the same time. That's what Three Dog Night is all about though! If you haven't seen them live, DO IT ASAP! They put on an amazing live show. Did you watch my video btw?

@shady1306 Really? Interesting you say that. I totally get what you're saying about Joe's version. You're right about that. All the way. I don't understand why you think Three Dog's version is "dull" though. I love how you can tell from their version that they are having fun with the song, because it's supposed to be fun anyways. When they laugh after saying different things, I think that adds so much to the character of the song. You seen them perform it LIVE though!? That knocked me out!

@Princeboy99 Yes its true they seem to have fun with the song but more lean toward how original songwriter Newman performs it they stretch it and in so doing almost sleeps you listening while Joe's version is dynamic and so its better if you ask me,but hey its all matter of taste.
