I'm with you all, I watched my mother battle cancer for 2 years. This song just makes me think of her and what I lost. But it makes me happy knowing she's someplace better. I hope that you all find joy in your family that you still have and remember those that have gone with a fond memory.

I watched my father suffer for 5 years until he passed away in 2007 from cancer. I was 17. Throughout my teenage life, I dtopped caring and feeling alot of things, but this song would always bring me back to a place where tears existed. This song is a direct path to my heart, and it is Beautiful.

I'm 20 now, and this song still makes me feel. You are all beautiful, just like this song, and I love each and every one of you, Those who have lost, and those who have not.

I am sorry for everyones losses here. This song always makes me cry as well. I first heard this song Christmas Eve 1988. My family were together that night, and since than I have lost my Uncle and Grandfather. This is just the song you can listen too, and think back on the happy times. Even though we miss our loved ones and always try to remember the happy times. Merry Christmas Everyone. God Bless.

Thank you for your comment. I am sure we all miss our family. Every year when I start decorating my christmas tree I always have 2 white doves that must go on the tree at first. The day after my mother died I had a wonderful encounter with dove! I know that she was watching over me. I MISS MY MOM!!

I first listened to this song in 1991. My mother passed away in 1990 and I took this song and played it at her grave. I cried like a baby. She would have so loved this song. It makes me cry every time I hear it. It is the most beautiful rendition I've ever heard. I miss my mother!

You sweet thing you!!! We did have a wonderful Christmas (just missed our mother) with kids running wild! That is what mama would have loved the most! Christmas was always about the "babies" that was anyone under 18 years old for us......but not to mom. I will admit that age does not belong in this family. My nieces and nephews have absolutely no age limit. I thank you so much for reminding me of what Christmas is all about. IT IS FAMILY!
