Well what is really happening:
1. NATO, Israel and Saudis are woking to kick out the Syrian regime but funding and arming the rebels.
2. Assad is trying to hang on to power as his power is slowly fading away by using his loyal army units. The Army is slowly going over to the rebs by a mix of bribes by the west and the atrocities that the Assad army is doing.
Well expect a bloody end to Syria as the loyalist army units fight the rebs.
