Corey Taylor admitted that Slipknots music is the anger and pain inside everyone, so they're musics not always beautiful but i think Coreys voice has good emotion, songs like Snuff ect. A7X definatley wins on the overall sound and feel of the band though, and Syn and Zacky's harmonys are fantastic, R.I.P to Paul and Jimmy, two great bands, no winner

A7X and slipknot are two different styles of music, a7x incorporates a lot of classic metal and follows in the foot steps of metallica and guns n' roses, but have also created their own sound. Slipknot is more screaming and banging of instruments, now if you wanna call that music be my guest. Slipknot is a band that thinksthat music to be good needs to be super fast and agressive. A7X is simply perfect. Their guitarists are awesome, their singer can sing screaming and ballads (beautiful ones) and Rev is the most talented drummer I ever had the pleasure to listen to. Avenged Sevenfold is the best band that ever existed. Face it and live with it. and plus, in this video, this isn't the best of A7X. The best of A7X is tottaly mindblower. The facts are these. i love slipknot, but theyre musically retarded.. joeys a good drummer, but almost all of their guitar parts suck. corey has an amazing voice for singing but as far as the shout goes, i think he should have just gone with screaming. a7x's music is very varied, shadows screams better than corey shouts. the rev was a better drummer r.i.p. to both him and paul. syn knows how to solo unlike mick, and the guitar parts are generally better plus their use of orchestras and other styles. A7X wins
