Here's an interesting thought. The stone ixupi was one that escaped. In the sequel, you had to deal with petroglyphs coming to life. Possible tie-in that we missed?
I really miss this game. I've been to all the abandonware sites, sierrachest, etc., and none of them will download. Very sad!! Anyway, thanks for the walkthrough, this has been such a pleasure!
It's funny how there's no mention of what became of the pots the ixupi were captured in. Do you think they kept that part ambiguous on purpose or did they just forget to write an ending for it?
@Sunwolfy Exactly. I'd like to know. And, more importantly, what became of the other three Ixupi? They are out there, in the world, and no one, save the Player, knows how to catch them. Hmm.. :: pauses :: ...Sounds like a good idea for a fanfiction.
I always hated how the newspaper at the end basically omits any mention of you, crediting "four" teens for being the first on the scene and discovering (presumably) the bodies and whatnot.
at first i thought i clicked on shivers 2 ending. i beat this one. it was a great fun adventure. sierra made the best damn adventure backs back in the day. willy bemish, space quest, police quest, quest for glory, these games, thexder, half life. well technically sierra was a publisher after the adventure game era was near its end. to 3d game engine games, then they sourced out to value.
I was like 10 years old when I got this and never finished it because it was too hard(or I was too stupid). Finally I see the ending! I think I might still have this game laying around somewhere...
you sir, have produced probably what is the best walkthrough i have ever encountered for any platform and genre.. i have completed this game many times and yet i still found watching all 18 of your vids thoroughly enjoyable. I have to say that this game is probably one of the greatest games ever made, in respect of its atmospheric immersion (with its music) & challenging gameplay. & even in 2010 its graphics (though p&c) are still astounding. I will still be playing this game when im 65! lol
Please keep these videos on here! I almost forgot all about Shivers, until I had this half-ass memory of some strange museum with cartoon ghosts, looked it up, remember it was Shivers, went on YouTube and there it was, your complete walk-through! Thank you so much.

What nice friends you have in the game
.
I remember my Uncle played this game when I was a child, getting stuck at the pinball and chinese checker puzzles.
I'd of not finished either, if not for this walkthrough.
Excellent job

@Sunwolfy yeah i was wondering that too randomly today (that's basicly why i came here) - seemed a little "lite" compared to the rest of the game :(

the ending sucks cause the museums blown up. after all that youve gone through, catching those damn spirits, it all gets destroyed in the end.

2:31 It's awkward how the lightning Ixupi appears twice before actually being captured. It's like he was indecisive about it.
