@DarkTrainerzx Where did you buy it? The original discs have the characters as silver but the greatest hits version has them as black. So, if you bought it from eBay or some store like that the seller could have bought a replacement disc for your 4th disc. Yep. :)

I love this game, first time i played it was in around 98, i didnt know what to do and gave up few minutes later.. But i was amazed by the graphics and everything.. I gave it to my cousin and he played it for a few months and when i saw how far he got in it, ofc i wanted it back.. Played it, finished it in 84 hours lol!.

Second playthrough was years later, completed in 60 hours.

Third playthrough > finished entire game, all side quests.. All. 40 hours :-).

Squall died. The "unimportant hallucinations" that are skipped are one of the most important scenes in the entire game to support it. As time passes in his dream he finds it harder and harder to recall the faces of those he knew and his mind keeps flashing back to the important parts of his life (that we played): When he met Rinoa and when he died on the float.

The ending is basically Squall's heaven where he can continue to dream for eternity.
