  • This is why I hate going to the gym and exercise at home instead.

  • Incline is too high.... you're not doing strictly chest, your shoulders are getting involved

  • I do this weight at the gym for 12 reps what's the big deal? It's not like it's a pair of 150's! Why is this on youtube with music like its some kind of hardcore achievement?

  • @LulzRoyce Maybe it is for him? Im sure 150 is shit for someone out there somewhere

  • good lift bro try to be more explosive, also less incline to better target you're upper pecs. ur strong though i prolly couldnt lift quite that much

  • how old are you?

  • LOOL thats it?

  • Do any of you fags know what a 40lbs. hex weight looks like well dickheads it's smaller than these like your balls and that bench is made to incline but so for so he's not working his shoulders so stop trying to act like you fags know how to lift weights correctly because if that were the case you'd have your workout posted on Youtube.

  • I don't use 80's unless I'm going light + high reps.. Even though, those DB's doesn't look like 80's srs.. Maybe is the kind/style of DB.. IMO the bench is too incline if you wanna target your upper pecs. That much incline is worthless.

  • lookslike you could press way more.

  • wtf those dont look like 80lb dumbells

  • the incline is too high, making this nothing more than a shitty shoulder press. sry.

  • @mwint1982 You're a doofus. sry.

  • Just one tip mate...as you lower the dumbbell, they look like their near your shoulders which is utilising your shoulders and taking less effect off the upper chest...lower them to the lower part of your chest and I promise you the results will be a lot more effective..however tho...keep it up, your doing good

  • see the white dumbells in the bottom right....my cat uses those!

  • You don't want to bring your arms too low; this will cause injury.

For more info about the incline dumbbell bench press, check out: youtube.com/watch?v=OxedJCWZYoo

  • @bodybuildingmethod Incorrect. What will cause injury is having a poor range of motion and not doing 1 to 1 or 2 to 1 pulling/pushing. A healthy diet of shoulder dislocates, YTWL's, scapular wall slides, and face pulls will let a person do a pull range of motion without any problem.

  • @TirumphantAce So what is more ideal? More pulling movements or pushing?

  • @InferiorThanYou For the average person a one to one ratio is ideal. It's hard to hurt yourself by over training on pulling movements unless you use terrible form (like rocking your back during rows and etc.). I personally do a 2/1 ratio of pulling to pushing; my shoulders are healthy and my pressing improves steadily. If you had to pick one over the other in a rush, It'd be more logical to pull. Pushing is for the ego, pulling is for joint health.

  • Too high of an incline, your hitting your delt to much bro. And to much of a ROM if your only trying to target your Pecs

  • i can do 70 ;D

  • @iEatFanboys4Lunch

    me with 40 :P

  • @iEatFanboys4Lunch I can do 100s for 3 sets

  • shouldn't the dumbbells be pointed outwards a bit, taking pressure off of the deltoids?

That's what I was told anyways.

  • i do roughly 35kgs each arm for incline, not sure if this is the same for you. i do it for 4 sets of 10 though..

  • Nice form. :)

  • Not impressed brb doing 85 pounds and im 17 since 1 month ago

  • @KidBers

    have fun.

I'm 12 and will be doing 200 lb dumbbell inclines and declines while watching TV.

  • im 44 years old and I do 110lbs x 8 reps on incline .. just for reference..

  • People need to shut their fucking mouths, it's as simple as that. All I ever see on Youtube is pussy mother-fuckers running their mouths about how much weight someone is doing, how improper their form is, Fucking even the goddamned angles of their arms and the alignment of their fucking shoulders, spine, etc.

This guy has perfect form. If you don't think so, post YOUR video of you lifting the same weight or more and show us your form. Other than that, shut your fucking mouths.

  • nice shoulder presses

  • 80 lbs isnt even heavy i do flys with 80s lmao work out more pussy

  • What the fuck does that even mean?

  • thats a good effort, although the bench looks at a greater angle than 30 degrees, is there a reason for that?

  • dude, you really need to lower you incline to at least 45 degrees or lower.

this is basically a shoulder press.

  • Nice bro but i done got yall beat i used 80lb DB's and pumped out 400 reps with em!!! meh!!! when yall can do dat come talk ta me !!! :)

  • lowdose338 is correct, you never dip below your shoulder line. And you should be lifting more. Im 16 and with perfect format I controll 105lb dunbells.

  • i can do 80 1 time lol

  • you look like you could do more man, is that your max? im only 160 and can shoulder press 75's

  • babyweight

  • good...

I'll only get 75 pounds that many times...

  • is that 80 lbs. each ?

  • you strict form kinda sucks! you never dip below your shoulder line...... just sayin

  • @lowdose338 you don't know what you are talking about...just sayin'

  • @roebuckk

Except I've trained for 10 years and I know this is not good for your shoulders. If you like shoulder injuries keep going like that. Keep you arms level to shoulders. We have high school kids doing 100's better then you are doing 80's..... just sayin'

  • @roebuckk thats 40 each right?

  • @lowdose338 ur stupid omg lol y do ppl like u post, his elbows went slightly below 90 degrees which is perfect form

  • @andrew7913

I'm stupid yet can formulate full words. "OMG LOL" you sound like a 11 year old girl. When you hit puberty come talk shit. Until then leave the weight lifting up to the big boys. I train people, I went to school for this. You may go back to your corner now.

perfect form is 90 degrees and going slow you should be able to count to 2.5 to 3 sec per each rep. You want to go fast, less weight higher reps.

  • @lowdose338 really where r ur lifting videos? lets see how strong u r, cause im not taht strong but im 100% ur not certified in anything and ur talking out of your ass and im stronger than u.

  • @andrew7913

Ya and I looked at your videos. Exactly as I thought, a 12 year old that likes cartoons and Halo. Haha that's cute. Run along and play, I don't need videos to prove shit, I know what I can do. That and I don't need to justtify myself to a 12 year old douche nozzle like you "andrew". You think you are stronger then me? Now THAT'S FUNNY. Go back to your cartoons. WHERE ARE YOUR LIFTING VIDEOS?!

  • @lowdose338 To build muscle you must go high weight low reps.

  • @wafflecushioned

no shit! But to define your muscle and make it tight, you need to go moderate weight with high reps to failure. Look at Branch Warren's workouts....

  • @lowdose338 You can define your muscle and make it tight with high weight low reps.

  • @lowdose338 your a fucking moron.

  • @mark28105

Another prime example of internet tall. You're parents hate you and asked that you remember to cut up not across. Have a good day.

  • @lowdose338 dipping below ur shoulders will just put unwanted tension on them.

  • Comment removed

  • @lowdose338

he has perfect form, dip below your shoulder line in a press you destroy your shoulders. go try it if you think hes wrong, its gonna suck to be you...just sayin

  • @Ferrarix55

Thats exactly what I was implying. Read it. When your arms go below 90 (level) you are putting tension on your shoulders. That's exactly how you end up with a torn rotator cuff or separated shoulder. Ive seen the injury firsthand simply because the client would not take our advice and do the exercise correctly.

  • @lowdose338

oh my bad i misunderstood thought you were criticizing, nah I see what you meant now yeah you're right

  • @lowdose338 i stachtang esercizes wuell mackea meh growwe?

  • @lowdose338 are u stupid? This is almost perfect form....just sayin

  • 35 pounds some girl took the 40lbs

  • @JOLO5150 35 lbs? okay but you better put them back when you find them too heavy! LOL

  • That's pretty impressive. I can only do 65's for 3 sets of 10

  • Good form, but the incline's way too high..

  • they are not 80lb dumbells they are way too small.

  • @twinturbo300zx small? kinda like your brain! LOL

  • @twinturbo300zx i work out with 80lbs on incline and they look about right to me.

  • @twinturbo300zx put it in high definition and pause it at 35 seconds and youll see it on the dumbell in his right hand, it says 80 just as i thought it was

  • @dirtyjew1974 finally someone believes me!

  • @roebuckk I use them too thats how i knew but i guess the other guys just dont know because they dont or cant use them

  • @dirtyjew1974 its just 80 pounds its not unbelivable lol but the diff is that hes doing it full reps with perfect form...unlike thouse other tards who do half reps with gazillion pounds

  • @muzimuzi i never said it was unbelievable...someone else made a comment this wasnt 80lbs and i disagreed with them but i can also work out with 80lbs on an incline bumbell press.. balancing dumbells on an incline that weigh 80lbs takes more strenth than one would think though, its not the same as lifting 160lbs on a barbell where the bar stabalizes the weight and balances it for you, dumbells require the use of smaller stabilizer muscles to steady the weight in order to do the lifts.

  • @dirtyjew1974 ah deffo harder but personaly i have easier time doing incline with DBs rather than doing it with a barbel - i dont know how much i can do with a barbel but im doing 110s in incline right now

  • @muzimuzi 110 is pretty good!

  • this isn't a chest movement at that angle, decrease the angle of the bench to 30-40 degrees, put the movement in the chest and out of your anterior deltoids.

unless this is part of your shoulder routine, if it's shoulder day then nice presses, otherwise adjust your bench.

this is the advice of Dorian Yates passed along by me.

  • looks like 40pound dumbbells...

  • @MrLAconfidential that is only because my arms are so big! LOL

  • I just turned 16 and I can do this for 6. I have been lifting for about 3 years so don't think I'm coming out of no where lol. I feel like that's pretty good, I'm top 3 strongest in 10th grade. My class has about 150.

  • good form

  • 80 pound dumbells is alot of wieght unless your on steriods or 6 foot 4 250 pounds. I wish more average weight lifters would post so we can all see where were stand.

  • @MrBacchusaphrodite

I'd consider myself an "Average weight lifter", because it's not my job, nor do I compete. I'm 6'0 tall, 173 lbs, around 6.5-7pbf, and have been working out for about 3 years total. I am very strong for my size, and have excellent form and know how for all of my workouts. At this high of an incline, I can put up 65's. To give you an idea of my strength and push, I press 75 lb dumbells, 3 sets of 15, lateral raise 20's, concentration curl 30's, tricep ext 4 sets of 40

  • first of all this guys has excellent form, good deep reps, a full stretch on each one. While this guy isn't the biggest or strongest his form is damn perfect unlike most anyone. Anyone can toss a bunch of weight around and look big but lifting like this will make you more quality muscle and not just bulk.

  • doing 8 full rom reps on incline with what roughly equates to 35kg in each hand is pretty impressive most people cant do it...

  • You guys really want to know what's impressive? Lifting ANY kind of weight, even 1 pound, but while keeping great form. Really, a lot of weight really doesn't mean shit, woohoo, if you can lift really a certain amount of weight that you think is impressive good for you, but if you can lift heavy weights and keep good form, like this guy benching 80 lbs dumbells, then THAT is impressive. Bravo to you if you can do that.

  • @TheTKOZ no one gives a shit? lol you do thats why your flappin your mouth ! hahahahhahahaHAH like a LIL BITCH! hahahah AHHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHHAHA

  • i do 100lb each and iam 17

  • @Bonespirit07

I don't think anyone really cares.

  • well you care, why did you comment bak

  • Y r u youtubing you do 80s its really not even that much

  • what degree does the bench have to be at?

  • Nice Job

  • fyi . its all about good form

  • decent i did 90's on flat the other day, i think i can do about 75 on incline goin pretty hard. im only 18 though so maybe ill get better some day

  • of course u will

  • Im only 17 and i do 90s for incline, but i can only do 3 by myself and for sure i cant get them up by myself.

  • @tmx51 ya i improved quite a bit since that comment. i can d0 100s on flat now, and ya the hardest part of doin these is that first fuckin rep.

  • nice man im only up to 65's for 6 on incline

  • Your upperbody should sue your legs for non-support.

  • don't need any legs for the incline! but I'm starting to do squats

  • Good form! I would of liked to see your knee kick-up of the DB to the chest because I struggle when I go over 70 lbs.

  • I knee kick one at a time but it is not easy to get 90s up

  • fuck off, nobody has perfect form.

  • actually most people who are serious about weight lifting do weight control to me is more important than the weight being used

  • whats the point of this video, nothing happens

  • Well, kinda. The more of an incline you get, the more that it hits the shoulders as opposed to the chest. How he's doing it, it's mostly a chest exercise, try it for yourself and you'll feel it on your pecs. Then incline the bench to about 60+ degrees and feel the difference.

  • is that why the shoulder press is done on a 90 degree angle bench/chair?

  • good one mate... i can hardly do 35.. i look ridiculously insignificant.. 80 lb's a lot of weight..

  • boy someone is a little defensive and insecure... what are you trying to compensate for your tiny dick or something?

  • roasted.

  • NBD---no big deal

  • but ya, they do look like 55's

  • cuz I make it look easy I can make 80s seem like 55s...I like that

  • nice form bro

  • too much incline, working too much delts

  • aahahahahahahahah 80?????? maybe 40 or less...

  • then check me doing 90s in video reponses

  • Your bench incline is too high...and what's with those weights?! Very old school. Are you sure they're 80s?! Well, okay, good video attempt anyway...

  • says in the info bar that hes trying to work delts aswell

  • Comment removed

  • i think it's a good weight

i'm 16 and can do 12 reps with 70 pounds

  • Comment removed

  • nice :p

  • all you guys are pussies

  • thanks :D

  • haha

  • The music was very unnecessary. Otherwise, aniiiice.

  • wow to all you people talking trash who probly cant even do 40 5 times.. congrats dude.. Keep going!

  • your lift is alright the bench looks a little off a 45 degree angle and you drop your arms down a lil to far your gonna fuck up your rotary cuff doing that

  • it's not a dick measuring contest you prick.

  • Comment removed

  • the empty can rattles the most

  • word

  • thats not special jaronson199, thats average for his weight

  • rofl... You know nothing about weight training fagget. I got a 7% body fat first off and im 5.6. But thank you for not believing me your just making me more proud of the weight i can lift. I dont really care if you believe me or not since I dunno you.. By the way bruce lee was able to curl 80pounders true story and he was small as fuck..

  • LMAO yeah you must really be proud of your self being so puny and lifting so much. I know bruce and I am sure you are no bruce lee

  • Was i talking to you?

  • when you react like a cretin and assert asinine accusations and impugn someone's lifting, expect blow back from all quarters! Learn from the humble bruce lee whom you so admire!

  • My roommate is just under 150 pounds and he can put the 70s up in the incline nice and clean as well.

  • nice its nothing impressive like i told everyone, not like i was bragging i was just stating a fact.

  • i tried dumbell incline but it just did not feel right and i could not get more than fifty pounds up, but once i did it flat i could get 80 pounds up

  • flat bench you can always do more than incline which use mostly your upper pecs

  • Not that impressive, Ive seen alot higher... Not to brag but im 145lb and i do 3sets of 8reps 70lb incline dumbbell press, clean and i havent workout for too long.

  • wow you sure your not bragging that is really impressive ...wish I could have done that when I was in my 20s.

  • Actually you are wrong. The pectoralis major muscle has two heads: the sternal and clavicular. The "upper chest" is the clavicular head that he is referring to

  • oh ha i am 15 and ya haha Dr. seuss! wow well I am 15 I just am using my brothers cause i'm too lazy to make my own! Ya i go to Los osos high school and am now officially the strongest freshman in my school history!!!

  • Nice form dude, pretty solid

i try not to lock out my elbows when I do this, I've read you can preserve your elbows longer if you stop just before your arm completely straighten.

    what do you think?

  • yeah I have heard that too but easier said than done...

  • nice

  • you can do them on the floor or against a door you can do them on your back if that's your knack! you can do them here or there you can do them anywhere. Oh the places you can bench! Dr. Seuss

  • yeah twelve years and 140 pounds and you jump upon the candy train to fantasy island ye? CHOOCHOO

  • LOL!!!

  • O and by the way I always do things with strict form.

That's kind of how you get stronger faster!

  • Strange. Your profile says you are 27.

  • nice job there dude good form...

  • haha y u filming ur lifts? just workout n get bigger no need to film

  • ummm? probably for the same reason ur watching em! enjoy

  • isnt incline benchpress same as the regular bench? or does it workout different chest muscles?

  • yea incline works your upper chest more flat bench is more for overall chest.

  • theres no such thing as "upper chest"

    your chest is one muscle
