it was so terrible i was so scared, not from kinglake but from victoria, it was terrible people please be carful next fire season is said to start ealier and be worse, everybody please please be safe, it was one of the most terrible days of ym life, please if you see anykind of flame or hear about it in your area, just leave please, it was terrible, be safe everyone

Yep, from Kinglake. It's probably been the worst week of my life and my home was one of the few to survive and I'm uninjured.
I left just before it hit, there was bedlam on the roads, people milling around ... discussing what to do and where to go. My neighbour left no more than 15 mins after me and she couldn't get off the mountain. I've felt so lucky that I was actually surprised not to win the lotto.
