Silva did great in this fight but it just shows what his key flaw is: superior wrestling. He is amazing at standing up and has good submissions and takedown defense but a strong wrestler who can take some hits will b difficult for silva, as we saw with chael sonnen. That is why GSP will be such a huge challenge for him. Can't wait to see that fight
@Kaveo415in Yeah he was. chuck liddel couldn't even KO him, in fact Horn was the only guy to ever beat Chuck by Submission. Well, Chuck never tapped, he just fell asleep on the job.

I have no clue how people could say that Silva "has no technique". Fucker's been training Muay Thai for about 20 years and has a black belt in BJJ. I mean, if you think another fighter is better than him, that's fine. But saying that he has absolutely no technique is absurd.
No, it's not less than 10. He said in an interview that he started Muay Thai and Tae Kwon Do at age 14 and has been continually training ever since.
As for the comparisons with other pure strikers in the K1 divisions, I can't comment. I just merely pointed out that stating that he had no technique was absurd.
@akleyn. anderson has been training muay thia for 21 years. and he isnt mediocre hes one of the best muay thia strikers of all time and the best in mma rite now
@metallifuc Please dude, don't talk about Anderson Silva being one of the "best Thai strikers of all time".
In Thailand, they don't know who the fuck Anderson is.
However, they know who Diesel Noi, Saenchai, and Changpuek are.
Anderson is a good MMA striker. He wouldn't last 1 round with any of the top ranked Muay Thai fighters at his weight. As a matter of fact, he is hiding from Nathan Corbett.
Don't talk about Muay Thai unless you know what the hell you're talking about.
ur an idiot if you think anderson is hiding from anyone. why would he take a one dimensional muy thai fight when there is 10 times the money in MMA AND mma proves who the best all around fighter is?
@metallifuc I don't think so. his striking only looks so great because he fights guys with less striking skills in the ufc. but if you put him against a world class muay thai fighter, he will get dominated. mma fighters have to focus on striking, wrestling and grappling, while thaiboxers only have to focus on striking, so they can spend more time training it and developing better striking skills.
@heyjustthetip not really, sylva actually did poorly in boxing and kickboxing, He does well in the cage with superior timing and simply not being willing to stand and exchange, he fights smart, makes sure all his punches and kicks are powerful, and with that, gets the win in MMA.
@ninjaboyjeff He doesn't have the heaviest hands or even kicks . Not build for those. He's fast , but not the fastest. It's that surgical precision and PREFECT TECHNIQUE of his. Knowing wnen to throw and when not, and what to throw...That's what enables Anerson Silva to be who he is ! So, yes..i agree with ya bro on absurdity of those comments.
@bates409 Haha, it was a while back on Sherdog and on different YouTube videos. Just a bunch of idiots that were defending their personal favorite fighters.
Jeremy Horn is the ULTIMATE man. Its 2004 and Horn fights Chael Sonnen and TKOs him. 16 days later, he fights another guy. Less than a month later, he fights Anderson Silva. While his defense is good, I'm sure he takes a beating. About two weeks later, the man is fighting again!
So if Chael Sonnen is indeed going for Silva's belt, that means that Jeremy Horn has fought the #1 and 2 top UFC middleweights in the span of 1 month. That wild.
@Deej1188 , Jeremy Horn Ultimate my ass. How can you say that when Anderson Silva just gave his white ass the Ultimate asswhooping of his caucasional life??
@NegroXFile Overlooking the racism in your comment, I believe that Horn is the man because he took this asswhooping and then fought again 2 weeks later. He had no time for his body to recover. After losing to Anderson Silva, I'd take two weeks to thank God that I'm alive.
@Deej1188 , listen asshole, you never, ever give a man credit for getting his asswhopped ok? thats rule #1, rule number 2 is Give The Winner his credit, fuck the loser, he got his asswhopped badly after the first round! after the first round it was all downhill for your caucasian asswhooped hero buddy!
@NegroXFile Why do I need to give Anderson Silva credit? Everyone knows he is arguably the pound for pound best fighter in the world. I just find it amazing that someone could take an ass beating as bad as this and then fight again two weeks later. You don't find that slightly crazy? I'm not giving him credit for losing. I'm giving him credit for getting right back in the ring.
I'm Asian you inbred retard. If you're going to be racist, at least know who you're attacking.
@Deej1188 , ah nah! your comment still does'nt have any validity whatsoever! you never give a fool credit for healing fast after he gets his ass beat half to death! I beat the fuck out of my 8th grade bully, I beat the shit out of his white ass and he was back at school THE NEXT DAY! so is he your hero too?
@NegroXFile That is nowhere near the same thing. Are you seriously equating your 8th grade self to Anderson Silva? Get real. If you don't like my example, I will change it.
Horn is the man. He beat Chuck Liddell and then fought again 13 days later.
Is that better? Or are you going to bitch about that too.
@Deej1188 , tHERE YOU GO AGAIN GIVING THESE WHITEFOLKS CREDIT for some bullshit like losing fights and healing fast, Thats Assinine, Back in The Day Jack Johnson used to fight 5 to 6 caucasians Bums a day and he always made love to his white wife after every fight for 3 hours!
@chekoz77 yeah, it was bad but at one point true just because of the popularity and roster size of hockey teams.
I am not sure if Anderson Silva is even 'black' in the African sense. I think he is a dark Brazilian man and he referenced Demian Maia being a "playboy"/ rich boy of Brazil.
That's because he is a Caucasian/white Brazilian like Shogun and W. Silva. In some parts of Brazil they are referenced like that even if they don't have a whole lotta cash. What's also neat in Brazil is that black/whites can be considered light or dark depending upon where they live and their social-economic status.
Brazil received more slaves than the US did during the slave trade. Brazil has the highest amount of black people outside of Nigeria. Many might not identify as African, but people like anderson silva are as African as the rapper DMX.
@pangealabs ASSHOLE, AS YOU SHOULD KNOW THEY MAJORITY RULES, AND THE MAJORITY OF BLACKS LOVE ANDERSON SILVA WHILE THE MAJORITY OF CAUCASIANS DONT LIKE ANDERSON AND WOULD RATHER CHAEL SONNEN WOULD HAVE FINISHED OFF ANDERSON ON THAT NIGHT WHEN THEY FOUGHT AND THATS AN ACCURATE ASSESSMENT! AND IM DONE TALKING TO YOU BITCHASS WHITE MOTHERFUCKER, AND DONT TWIST MY SHIT AROUND BECAUSE I KNOW THATS WHAT YOU PALE MOTHERFUCKERS DO.
I would think the ultimate man would be someone who beats who you consider, the "ultimate man". in this context, let's call horn a more deserving title: "the penultimate man". Also considering that he was knocked out of the UFC for 3 straight loses and is now fighting in lesser known mma organizations, it maybe more wise to train more rather than take as many fights as once can muster.
@lalamango1 I think it's been established that Horn doesn't have the talent to really challenge for a relevant world title. But cmon, he has had several Zuffa title shots mixed into all those fights. How many hall of famers has he fought? The man keeps chugging along. I think Anderson Silva is without question the best fighter on the planet. But I would never call him the "Ultimate Man".
The "ultimate" man would be someone w/ both superior mental and physical gifts, not someone who enjoys fighting and getting beat up. I think there are plenty of fighters who could fight more frequently, but their goal is to win, not just to fight. Also, save for a tourney, he is not fighting UFC caliber guys back to back within 2 wks or a month. He has fought some big names, but peppered amongst a bunch of nobodies. If he were in the UFC and fighting every month, that would be impressive.
@lalamango1 That is where we differ in oppinion. Myself, as well as countless popular underdog movies, consider the ultimate man the guy who isn't the most talented but continues to grind. The "rub some dirt on it" attitude is where I count manliness. The GSPs or Anderson Silva's of the world are amazing because they seamlessly combine talent and work ethic. But there's something about Horn's willingness to compete non-stop and his willingness to fight anybody no matter what the odds.
I get where you are coming from, but i think you are misusing terms, and also giving more credit than due. I think the more apt term is underdog, or ultimate underdog. So many ppl are born with talent, but few identify it and nurture it. Look at Jordan. He wasn't born with those skills. His dedication in the gym is legendary. Few are willing to work as hard as he was. The same with Silva and GSP. They put hard work, dedication, and intelligence together to win.
@lalamango1 And I also think that many fans have the same sentiment. Remember when Forrest Griffin was like "I never said I was that good. But there’s nobody in this sport at 205 you put me in with and I won’t make it a fight. That’s just the way I am. I'm not that technically good. But I'm just a dog...I fight". Everyone went crazy. And It's true. Griffin, the cop turned UFC champ still isn't THAT good. But his manliness level is off the charts.
Horn is not persevering due to some over-arching ethic. He does it because he likes to do it. Simple as that. If it were bc he needs to put food on the table and therefore endures beating after beating, I could maybe buy your story.
About Forrest, it has nothing to do with his manliness (again, Silva made him look like a girl), it's that Forrest put up a great battle and is down to earth/funny. Some can relate to him more. That doesn't equate to being an ultimate man, but an everyday
an everyday man. Again, someone being more identifiable does not make them the ultimate of anything. in the context of fighting, manliness is about beating other men. The best at that is the ultimate man.
Being a punching bag, taking fight after fight, means to me you really love to fight. I will give Horn credit for having a great chin, just like Roy Nelson, who is another beloved guy. Why? Because many fat beer belly mma watchers can identify with him, and, he is a great punching bag
@lalamango1 I see the two things intertwined. You know all the loser talk about how real men get back up after they get knocked down? I buy into that. I have to. It's the only crap that gives the common man hope. I had the opporunity to train with Jon Jones back when he was in central New York before his Jake O'Brien fight. He's gifted and a badass/nicest man on the planet. But I have to give the manliness knod to Nelson. Who can take 15 min of JDS punches and not want to retire?
per the Nelson thing, you can say that abt most fighters . how many fighters have been totally blasted, yet came back to the octagon? look what andy did to franklin in the first fight yet he came back for more. how else do they make a paycheck?
going by your line of reasoning, i would have to give it up for diego sanchez. there is a guy who doesn't have the skill set, yet won't give up. an everyday man. but not the ultimate man.
oh I see. Well, Anderson knocked out Rich Franklin in the 1st round. And he was the best at 185. He knocked out the best TUF winner Forrest Griffin in the first round.
Wow, I gotta give Jeremy Horn props, I seen Anderson Silva knock out the best in the first few seconds of round one! This guy not only lasted the whole fight but even stole the first round from Silva.
noone? He have been tko in boxing second round thought.
I asked the guy that said that anderson have knocked his opponents that are the "best" and knocked him out in the first round, none of them who anderson knocked out is the best
@thenewgeneration123 rich franklin at the time was considered the best. forest was too for a short period of time. who the fuck do you consider best anyway little kid
NO FIGHTERS GOES INTO A FIGHT AT 100%, YOU FUCKING GENIUS.
He was healthy enough to get cleared to fight.
Watch the Griffin Rampage fight again, dumfuck. Griffin worked him with leg and body kicks. Rampage won the first round based on the knockdown, but that is the only round he won.
fedor is an awesome fighter but so is anderson silva is also a great fighter, they are both in different weight classes so u cant really compare them u just have to see that they are both great fighters.
@NegroXFile says the tough guy trolling youtube.........grow up and get yourself to a gym so some real fighters can teach you some fucking respect and humility.......oh and im black so please dont call me a white motherfucker
@joel2ksweet My 9mm handgun on my hip makes you a good fucking target you fucking shittalking caucasoid. So come on over for dinner motherfucker, Im serving "HOT LEAD" for dinner bitch and don't be late or we will get another caucasian standin to take yo motherfucking place!!
@joel2ksweet you question was based on sound am i correct? you asked do you think you sound tough? because you sound like a 14 yr old boy, and my answer to you was Anderson Silva has a high Pitched voice no matter what fucking language he speaks his fucking voice is very high pitched but he has whooped every white motherfuckers ass that he have ever fought and Anderson took a good asswhooping from whiteboy Chael Sonnen AND STILL WON THE FIGHT? AHAHAHA GO FIGURE! AHAHAHA
One of the reasons for that is that Horn has amazing defense. He has a powerful chin, great foot movement, and has big heart. The only fighter I've seen really put Horn on his back was Liddell and we all know he is a knock out master like A and W silva! He didn't even really knock horn out he just said he couldn't see temporarily.
I agree with Ijuh22 Jeremy gave one heck of a fight...mostly the first round...But I don;t get Jeremy...he's proven that he is good...but his confidence just went down...It was a good fight for Jeremy not getting knocked out.
I also would give the first round to Horn, but the other two I would probably just give to Silva, I remember he does come back a little bit in the 3rd but it wasn't enough to win the decision. He lasted way longer in a legitimate way (I don't count Thales or whatever his name is way of lying on his back lasting) than most of Silva's opponents and also he answered almost every time Silva struck. That's another reason why he wins a lot hes great at pushin the pace of a fight.
jeremy horn had the right idea at the beginning, but he didn't pass his guard... too bad. Anderson Silva is way too devestating a kickboxer to stand up with.
@ijuh22 the ref didnt do jeremy any favors by making him stand up whenever he'd get the takedown. i never have and i never will like standups. it favors the striker and makes it not only not fair but makes it a kickboxing event. also, golf would be better if it was hockey.
damn.. this broda called silva, is a unpredictable fighter... allways some new move on his doomed challengers/opponents... the most unpredictable move was at 3:43.... lol i feel sory for that guy that lost, jeremi or wateva his called, even thos he was good at grabbing, he was NOT good enough to win, cuz Silva is flexible.. which is a essential skill thats important to have in MMA... so yeh he put up a good try tho... stilll.....
Silva is my favorite fighter but a lot of people underestimate gsp, i dont think size will be as much as a factor as everyone thinks and gsp is equally the top p4p but silva is jus more exciting
idc who wins between silva and griffen, its gonna be a hell of a brawl. they both like to stand up and put on a good show. i can promise one thing, it sure as hell aint gonna be another thales leitis(spell check) fight
Silva fights best when someone gives him a fight. That was why he dominated Dan Henderson so hard in that second round. He was pissed he got his ass beat in the first.
it will be a while untill we see Anderson Silva defeated again(don't forget he has 4 loses) Why will it be a while? because there are only 2 people in the ufc that can beat him(besides Brock)and thats GSP and Lyoto the dragon machida and Dana is too smart to book that fight right now. He is making too much $ but we will see 1 or maybe even both those fights one day.
Forest will be K.O. or maybe ground and pound ref stoppage like against evans.I predict the 3 round.
Anderson has said he will never fight Machida because they're such good friends. It's the main reason why he's said he isn't interested in a shot at the Light Heavyweight belt.
I love GSP and I can see why people make this claim. Problem is Anderson Silva is too big and too accurate for GSP to handle. We all know GSP can't take a big shot, he hardly get's hit with one though because his wrestling is so dominant in his weight class. GSP's only chance would be to keep silva on his back the entire fight. He could get some takedowns, but making it through the whole fight without getting hit by the most lethal and accurate striker in UFC would be a miracle.
you make some good points. I didn't mean to say that gsp would beat silva I was saying he COULD beat silva and would do so just like you said by laying on top of him and landing shots but it is possible he could submit him too. Everyone knows what happens when silva hits you and yes gsp would be no exception. But I have a different question for you do you think B.J can stop a rebel force like Sanchez ? because I don't know what to expect in that one
that's a good 1. i think it depends on the sanchez that shows up. 90% of the time sanchez is going to come in blazing, and that sanchez has a good chance at winning. every now and then, he's not so fiery, like against stevenson. he won that fight, but it wasn't the same sanchez that we saw fighting clay guida. same with BJ, will he be the prodigy or the lazy BJ? I'm excited at the thought of this fight. who would be at their best? if they both are, then it could be a classic fight for the books.
jeremy horn is one of the only fighters who has real defense. he can block shots unlike no other ~ its not like boxing where many are deflected. jeremy can cover and avoid damage!! props
I dont get it there not allowed to go to the ground cause the reff keeps breaking up right when horne has the takedown and the top position for ground and pround lame!
yeah jeremy horn had way too many fights to keep his spark. if youre a fan you should watch his fight with randy in rings to see how fit he use to be. silva is a bad ass fighter who isnt goin to lose to palhares
dan henderson beat palhares after he failed to get the fight to the ground..AS is not just going to let a person he knows is a wrestler/bjj easily take him down...AS will stay to the outside with kicks and punches just like DAN did...
You're right, he couldn't stop him, he just beat him up for fifteen minutes. Who wants to be called frustrating as a fighter? That's something you say to your baby brother, might as well have called him "annoying." Basically saying "I can do whatever I want to you, except finish you." Says something for Horn's toughness, which has disappeared since. I want Silva to lose, just so I know he's human. Horn used to be so f*ckin tough, takes it's toll though.
so and get hot with me

Anderson has not been training Muay Thai for 20 years. As a matter of fact, it may be less than 10.
He was an amateur boxer and has great boxing. His Muay Thai is mediocre compared to high level Thai fighters like Alexei Ignashov and Badr Hari.
However, in MMA he makes people look silly because overall the striking is dismal when you compare it to the upper echelon of K1 or boxing.

No, it's not less than 10. He said in an interview that he started Muay Thai and Tae Kwon Do at age 14 and has been continually training ever since.

That wild.
Deej1188 1 year ago
@Deej1188 , Jeremy Horn Ultimate my ass. How can you say that when Anderson Silva just gave his white ass the Ultimate asswhooping of his caucasional life??
NegroXFile 1 year ago
@NegroXFile Overlooking the racism in your comment, I believe that Horn is the man because he took this asswhooping and then fought again 2 weeks later. He had no time for his body to recover. After losing to Anderson Silva, I'd take two weeks to thank God that I'm alive.
Deej1188 1 year ago
@Deej1188 , listen asshole, you never, ever give a man credit for getting his asswhopped ok? thats rule #1, rule number 2 is Give The Winner his credit, fuck the loser, he got his asswhopped badly after the first round! after the first round it was all downhill for your caucasian asswhooped hero buddy!
NegroXFile 1 year ago
@NegroXFile Why do I need to give Anderson Silva credit? Everyone knows he is arguably the pound for pound best fighter in the world. I just find it amazing that someone could take an ass beating as bad as this and then fight again two weeks later. You don't find that slightly crazy? I'm not giving him credit for losing. I'm giving him credit for getting right back in the ring.
I'm Asian you inbred retard. If you're going to be racist, at least know who you're attacking.
Deej1188 1 year ago
@Deej1188 , ah nah! your comment still does'nt have any validity whatsoever! you never give a fool credit for healing fast after he gets his ass beat half to death! I beat the fuck out of my 8th grade bully, I beat the shit out of his white ass and he was back at school THE NEXT DAY! so is he your hero too?
NegroXFile 1 year ago
@NegroXFile That is nowhere near the same thing. Are you seriously equating your 8th grade self to Anderson Silva? Get real. If you don't like my example, I will change it.
Horn is the man. He beat Chuck Liddell and then fought again 13 days later.
Is that better? Or are you going to bitch about that too.
Deej1188 1 year ago
@Deej1188 , tHERE YOU GO AGAIN GIVING THESE WHITEFOLKS CREDIT for some bullshit like losing fights and healing fast, Thats Assinine, Back in The Day Jack Johnson used to fight 5 to 6 caucasians Bums a day and he always made love to his white wife after every fight for 3 hours!
NegroXFile 1 year ago
@NegroXFile Ok...and Johnson was the man too. I don't understand why this is a race issue.
Whose rule is it that you can't give a guy credit for getting back on the horse after taking a major beating? Yours?
Why would anyone listen to you? All you've proven is that you hate white guys.

@chekoz77 yeah, it was bad but at one point true just because of the popularity and roster size of hockey teams.
I am not sure if Anderson Silva is even 'black' in the African sense. I think he is a dark Brazilian man and he referenced Demian Maia being a "playboy"/ rich boy of Brazil.
layups 1 year ago
@layups
FunkMastaMegaFlex 1 year ago
@layups
Brazil received more slaves than the US did during the slave trade. Brazil has the highest amount of black people outside of Nigeria. Many might not identify as African, but people like anderson silva are as African as the rapper DMX.

NegroXFile 11 months ago
@Deej1188
I would think the ultimate man would be someone who beats who you consider, the "ultimate man". in this context, let's call horn a more deserving title: "the penultimate man". Also considering that he was knocked out of the UFC for 3 straight loses and is now fighting in lesser known mma organizations, it maybe more wise to train more rather than take as many fights as once can muster.
lalamango1 10 months ago
@lalamango1 I think it's been established that Horn doesn't have the talent to really challenge for a relevant world title. But cmon, he has had several Zuffa title shots mixed into all those fights. How many hall of famers has he fought? The man keeps chugging along. I think Anderson Silva is without question the best fighter on the planet. But I would never call him the "Ultimate Man".
Deej1188 10 months ago
The "ultimate" man would be someone w/ both superior mental and physical gifts, not someone who enjoys fighting and getting beat up. I think there are plenty of fighters who could fight more frequently, but their goal is to win, not just to fight. Also, save for a tourney, he is not fighting UFC caliber guys back to back within 2 wks or a month. He has fought some big names, but peppered amongst a bunch of nobodies. If he were in the UFC and fighting every month, that would be impressive.
lalamango1 10 months ago
@lalamango1 That is where we differ in oppinion. Myself, as well as countless popular underdog movies, consider the ultimate man the guy who isn't the most talented but continues to grind. The "rub some dirt on it" attitude is where I count manliness. The GSPs or Anderson Silva's of the world are amazing because they seamlessly combine talent and work ethic. But there's something about Horn's willingness to compete non-stop and his willingness to fight anybody no matter what the odds.
Deej1188 10 months ago
I get where you are coming from, but i think you are misusing terms, and also giving more credit than due. I think the more apt term is underdog, or ultimate underdog. So many ppl are born with talent, but few identify it and nurture it. Look at Jordan. He wasn't born with those skills. His dedication in the gym is legendary. Few are willing to work as hard as he was. The same with Silva and GSP. They put hard work, dedication, and intelligence together to win.
lalamango1 10 months ago
@lalamango1 And I also think that many fans have the same sentiment. Remember when Forrest Griffin was like "I never said I was that good. But there’s nobody in this sport at 205 you put me in with and I won’t make it a fight. That’s just the way I am. I'm not that technically good. But I'm just a dog...I fight". Everyone went crazy. And It's true. Griffin, the cop turned UFC champ still isn't THAT good. But his manliness level is off the charts.
Deej1188 10 months ago
Horn is not persevering due to some over-arching ethic. He does it because he likes to do it. Simple as that. If it were bc he needs to put food on the table and therefore endures beating after beating, I could maybe buy your story.
About Forrest, it has nothing to do with his manliness (again, Silva made him look like a girl), it's that Forrest put up a great battle and is down to earth/funny. Some can relate to him more. That doesn't equate to being an ultimate man, but an everyday
lalamango1 10 months ago
@lalamango1
a great battle in that Bonnar fight, I should say.
lalamango1 10 months ago
..cont'd
an everyday man.
Why? Because many fat beer belly mma watchers can identify with him, and, he is a great punching bag
lalamango1 10 months ago
@lalamango1 I see the two things intertwined. You know all the loser talk about how real men get back up after they get knocked down? I buy into that. I have to. It's the only crap that gives the common man hope. I had the opporunity to train with Jon Jones back when he was in central New York before his Jake O'Brien fight. He's gifted and a badass/nicest man on the planet. But I have to give the manliness knod to Nelson. Who can take 15 min of JDS punches and not want to retire?
Deej1188 10 months ago
@Deej1188
sorry for the belated comment; was on vacation.
per the Nelson thing, you can say that abt most fighters . how many fighters have been totally blasted, yet came back to the octagon? look what andy did to franklin in the first fight yet he came back for more. how else do they make a paycheck?
going by your line of reasoning, i would have to give it up for diego sanchez. there is a guy who doesn't have the skill set, yet won't give up. an everyday man. but not the ultimate man.

I agree with Ijuh22 Jeremy gave one heck of a fight...mostly the first round...But I don;t get Jeremy...he's proven that he is good...but his confidence just went down...It was a good fight for Jeremy not getting knocked out.
alessandrogambino 2 years ago
I also would give the first round to Horn, but the other two I would probably just give to Silva, I remember he does come back a little bit in the 3rd but it wasn't enough to win the decision. He lasted way longer in a legitimate way (I don't count Thales or whatever his name is way of lying on his back lasting) than most of Silva's opponents and also he answered almost every time Silva struck. That's another reason why he wins a lot hes great at pushin the pace of a fight.
FunkMastaMegaFlex 2 years ago
jeremy horn had the right idea at the beginning, but he didn't pass his guard... too bad. Anderson Silva is way too devestating a kickboxer to stand up with.

HowyaTom 1 year ago
@ijuh22 the ref didnt do jeremy any favors by making him stand up whenever he'd get the takedown. i never have and i never will like standups. it favors the striker and makes it not only not fair but makes it a kickboxing event. also, golf would be better if it was hockey.

it will be a while untill we see Anderson Silva defeated again(don't forget he has 4 loses) Why will it be a while? because there are only 2 people in the ufc that can beat him(besides Brock)and thats GSP and Lyoto the dragon machida and Dana is too smart to book that fight right now. He is making too much $ but we will see 1 or maybe even both those fights one day.
Forest will be K.O. or maybe ground and pound ref stoppage like against evans.I predict the 3 round.
PunkRockPat420 2 years ago
Anderson has said he will never fight Machida because they're such good friends. It's the main reason why he's said he isn't interested in a shot at the Light Heavyweight belt.
johnpll1 2 years ago
I love GSP and I can see why people make this claim. Problem is Anderson Silva is too big and too accurate for GSP to handle. We all know GSP can't take a big shot, he hardly get's hit with one though because his wrestling is so dominant in his weight class. GSP's only chance would be to keep silva on his back the entire fight. He could get some takedowns, but making it through the whole fight without getting hit by the most lethal and accurate striker in UFC would be a miracle.
blkmatt83 2 years ago
you make some good points.
PunkRockPat420 2 years ago
that's a good 1. i think it depends on the sanchez that shows up. I'm excited at the thought of this fight. who would be at their best? if they both are, then it could be a classic fight for the books.
blkmatt83 2 years ago
Thanks for putting that fight in my head btw. It has to happen and I can't wait now lol.

He went the distance here.
Silva couldnt knock him out. Silva couldnt submit him.
I seen an interview after the fight and Silva said that Jeremy Horn frustrated the hell out of him.
Very Good.
iamcreation 3 years ago
You're right, he couldn't stop him, he just beat him up for fifteen minutes. Who wants to be called frustrating as a fighter? That's something you say to your baby brother, might as well have called him "annoying." Basically saying "I can do whatever I want to you, except finish you." Says something for Horn's toughness, which has disappeared since. I want Silva to lose, just so I know he's human. Horn used to be so f*ckin tough, takes it's toll though.
