  • When I watch games things always seem like it's a mess and their just doing random things. But is this truly a set play? Did they know from the start that Robinson would be open for a 3? If so that is really cool..

  • This is set play - they run it at least once a game. It's a designed ball rotation set meaning pushing it from strong side to weak side. All the movement on the strong side allows Nate to slide into an open spot on the weak side undetected. Usually this play is called for Quentin Richardson.

  • Cool. Do they run set plays like this every possession? How did everyone know that THAT was the play they were running? They restarted so quick and I didn't see any hand go up or anything? Or do they yell code word plays to each other? Sometimes I see a hand go up to reset or something. But usually I don't understand how they all know what plays to run.

  • Also I was wondering... Coaches are the ones who design plays right? Since D'Antoni came in, does he run his own, completely different plays than the other knicks coaches? Or do the knicks run similar plays as previous years?

Since we are doing the 7 second offense or whatnot, does that mean that we are using the exact same plays that he used for the Suns?

  • wow very nice
