@pedrofilipecosta Actually i was of the same opinion til I saw them live, their sound's a lot grittier and ironically more white stripes-esque live. Their sound is quite a bit like The Von Bondies though, either way it's hard to say they weren't influenced by that whole detroit scene.

And muse are very like radiohead. Sorry. They really are.

The white stripes revived blues into this age in a childish/punky/garage way.. They created a mystery around the band.. Nearly all of jack's lyrics are real and have emotion in them.. Do you picture Laura playing with bob dylan?..And of course the red/white/black theme, everybody recognises them. Stupid of BRS to have the word 'red' in it. They provoked it ;)

I have to say I agree with Sokrata White Strips have much more musical depth than BRS. White Strips take on more inflences than just your averge post punk apeing band. I mean anyone who likes Son House is alright by me.
